Chapter Eighteen
"My Grandmother is the one who raped me." Cyro confessed, Vance could feel him shaking as he spoke. Wrapping his arms around Vance's neck as they lay under the cover, still slightly wet from their shower. He could feel Cyro tears spilling on to his neck as he buried his face there but didn't say anything, didn't move, Vance didn't even want to breath. "I don' know if she physically, you know, put that ting there, but I know it was her who showed me that video and said those awful thing, I don't know why though."
"I'm right here, it's okay." Vance reassured him as he felt Cyro's nails clawing into his skin. Truthfully, Vance hated this, Cyro was so close so open, and it was finally emotionally not physically. It was the best kind of suffocation, something he'd been wanting from Cyro for a while but now all he could think about was if he would be like this with other people. It made him regret letting Cyro make the call to 'explore his options' but part of him knew that he'd never get this close to Cyro if he hadn't.
"I don't know what I did, or why she would want to hurt me, or why she showed me that video, or why she even had it, I just don't understand, and when she sees me it's like nothing happened. At first I didn't want to believe it, she would have at least started acting different towards me but she didn't."
"Cy, love, maybe you should talk to her about it?"
"Not ready yet." Cyro sighed. "Plus there's a lot to do today."

The paper were signed, she was his, he and Vance were through, they'd both gotten what they'd wanted in the end but it didn't feel as good as Cyro had thought it would. It took a few months to get everything really settled but it was all working out. Cyro had even started seeing someone else, it was to early to tell if it would become anything or if it would help with his experiences like he hoped it would.
He had moved out of Vance's apartment but it rally hadn't made much difference he was still constantly over there with Maxine, and even when Maxine wasn't there. He wondered about his morals some days, especially days he found himself sleeping with Vance. It felt odd but it was almost more comfortable than it had been before. He didn't feel as much pressure when he talked to Vance and while Cyro knew that Vance hated him seeing other people as much if not more than he hated Cyro not talking to him it was the compromise they had.
Cyro stood watching the designers shift around the furniture as Maxine pointed her bossy finger around. He wasn't sure why he'd talked Vance into letting her be in charge of redecorating her room other than he knew it would be hilarious to watch grown men scramble around at the will of a nine year old. He took out his phone, recording some video footage to send to Vance, smiling as Maxine sighed in frustration before repeating that the small orange desk was not meant to go next to the white toy box but the white hamper crate.
"Your little girl is a monster." One of the movers huffed as he paused next to Cyro carrying a handful of decorative flower pots.
"I know." Cyro laughed smiling at the poor worker. "Don't tell her father though, he'd never forgive me for this."
"So you're married?" The worker asked, his eyes dropping down to Cyro's hand trying to locate a ring. Cyro could feel himself blushing a little as the worker looked him over rather obviously before holding his left hand. He laughed making a quick jazz hand as the worker quirked an eyebrow and his ring-less hand.
"Nope, not married, just making experiences."
