(Liam’s P.O.V)

It was 9:30 am and she was still sleeping. She looked so peaceful. Then she groaned and opened her eyes.

"Hey." I said.

"Hi." She croaked.

"How are you doing?" I asked her.

"Good, for someone who just got hit by a car." She told me.

"I’m glad you’re feeling better, is there anything I can get you?" I asked.

"Nope, not really…oh wait, is Izzy here?" she asked me. I pointed to the chair on the other side of the hospital bed where Izzy was fast asleep. Holly smiled.

"She hasn’t left your side since she got here last night." I told her. She smiled again. I was so glad that she was okay.

(Holly’s P.O.V)

Izzy was so loyal. I wanted to go home. I hated hospitals, they freaked me out. I mean, the bed I slept in could have been the same bed someone died in. It was a sad and horrible thought.

"What about you? How long have you been here?" I asked Liam.

"Well I came as soon as Izzy called last night. I was really worried." He told me.

"That’s sweet. But you both should have gone home and got some sleep." I said, "Now, when can I go home?"

"As soon as you’re better." I turned to see a doctor standing in the doorway, "Good morning Holly, Liam, you know that you should have told me that she was awake."

"Sorry Dr. Tucket." Liam apologised.

"Well then, Holly, at this rate you’ll be able to go home in two days. You’re making a quick recovery." Doctor Tucket told me. I was so glad.

"Where’s my mum?" I asked.

"Oh, she’s getting some coffee, she’ll be ba…"

"HOLLY!!! Oh my gosh you’re awake! How are you feeling? Do you need anything? Why did no-one tell me that my daughter was awake?" my mum rabbited on.

"I’m fine, I just want you to calm down and stop worrying." I told her.

"Oh, I’m so happy you’re awake honey." She said and hugged me.

"Oi, where’s my hug?" I turned to a now awake Izzy as my mum let go.

"Come here then." I said and we hugged.

~2 days later~

"Careful Holly, you’ve just got back you shouldn’t be carrying anything heavy." My mum fussed over me. I had come home only an hour ago.

"Mum, it’s a book. Nothing’s going to happen." I told her as I entered the living room with her trailing behind me.

"Oh, I know, just please be careful." She said.

"I am mum, now let me be so I can read my new book." I said.

"Okay, but I’ll be in the kitchen if you need me." She said and left the room.

A few hours later and I had fallen asleep. Until the sound of the doorbell woke me up. I walked over to the door and opened it. Izzy was standing on the doorstep, soaked from the rain.

"Hey, can I come in?" she asked.

"No way, not like that." I joked.

"What? But I’m freezing!" she complained, "And I brought cookies." She said holding the back of triple chocolate cookies up.

"In that case, come on in!" I grinned. That afternoon we ate cookies and watched films. It was so good to be home.
