(Holly’s P.O.V)
"Zach?" was all I could say. There was a table set up at the front of the cinema, Zach was standing on it. He was holding a microphone and the screen above him read ‘I’m so sorry Holly. L ’. My mouth hung open in shock. The cinema had loads of people inside.
"Holly!" he called out to me. Everyone turned towards me. Oh God, I thought. Liam stood behind me, his eyes wide.
"What do I do?" I whispered to him. He smiled at me.
"hear him out." He told me. His answer surprised me slightly, I was pretty sure he hated Zach. Obviously I was wrong…or maybe it was just him being the nice person he was. I turned back to look at Zach and waited for him to continue.
(Zach’s P.O.V)
They spoke for a minute, Holly and Liam. I always hurt me so bad whenever I saw them together, but I had to keep calm. Holly then turned back to face me. I took that as I sign to continue.
"Holly, I have known you for a long time now. I know that we didn’t exactly start of friends." I saw her smile slightly at the memories of us fighting, as did I. "But I also know that I will never find another girl as amazing as you! I know I’ve done wrong in my past and some things are true, but others are not. I’m not the best guy around," I looked at Liam for a second then back to Holly, there was still no expression on her face. "But the truth is, I…I love you."
(Holly’s P.O.V)
Shock overwhelmed me and I felt tears stinging my eyes. He just said that he loved me. The whole room was looking from him to me, me to him.
"So, yeah, I’m truly sorry. I just wanted you to know the truth, thanks for hearing me out." He said and climbed down from the table. He walked up the stairs all the way to me. He didn’t say anything, neither did I.
"Do you mean it?" I finally choked. He nodded. I swallowed, but I could no longer hold back the tears. When he noticed I was crying he immediately came over and held me in his arms. I let him hold me, needing the comfort.
"I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. Please don’t cry." He whispered. I pulled myself together and stopped crying. Then I pushed him away from me, hard.
"Don’t you ever do that to me again!" I said, another tear escaping. He looked down in shame. "Now stop being pathetic and kiss me you ass hole!" I told him. He looked back up and me and smiled, then he pulled me into his arms and kissed me softly.
"God, I missed you Holly." He said and that’s when I realised that everyone in the room was cheering. We both laughed. Then I remembered Liam. I turned to face him.
"Liam, I…"
"Don’t worry about it. It would’ve never worked between us anyway." He smiled, but I could tell he was hurting inside.
"I’m sorry." I said.
"Seriously, don’t worry about it, I’m fine." He smiled again, "I’m happy for you." He said, still smiling. I smiled back slightly. Then Zach and I headed out of the room. His arm around my waist, mine around his, smiling at each other. We both knew he had a hell of a lot of making up to do, but all the tears…they were worth it in the end.
