Chapter 15: First Fight

~Few Weeks Later~

"Okay what's up with you?" Peeta says as we stop from walking

"There's nothing wrong!" I snap

"Look Katniss if this is about me hanging out with Delly a lot then..." He says

"Then what? Brake up with me and go to her" I say folding my arms

"You don't understand, you see-" he starts

"No! Peeta! You suddenly have lots of spare time for her but not me! Do you even love me?!" I yell

"Katniss! Just shut up and let me explain!" He raises his voice and I'm taken back

"Look maybe we should have a break" I whisper

"So your braking up with me?" He asks sadly

"No, just so you can spend time with your friend" I say walking away and he grabs my arm

"Katniss please don't do this" he begs and I get my arm out of his grip

"I'm sorry Peeta, it's over" I say and walk away, tears in my eyes, as soon as I got inside I slammed my door shut and cry on my bed.

~In Class~

I feel eyes in the back of my head, I turn and Peeta and I's eyes lock and then I see that he's sitting next to Delly, I turn my head quickly with tears in my eyes, he doesn't love me, all he cares about is that overly attractive girl, perfect long blonde hair, perfect figure, perfect looks, perfect everything, don't see why he wouldn't go for her instead of me

"Ms Everdeen" the professors voice knocks me out of my thoughts

"Yes?" I say and everyone laughs quietly

"I said what is the main structure of teaching?" He asks

"Well I think that the main structure is that you keep your students attention and interested" I say and he nods

"Very good" he says and continues on teaching and I pay attention this time.

I through my bag down and go to my desk which is under my bunk bed and go on my lap top and I click on a file marked as Love, I look through the pictures smiling, Peeta and I, happy, smiling and a tear falls down my cheek when I see a picture of us, Peeta hugging my from behind and I'm laughing, I miss those days, where we were happy but that's all gone now, disappeared in thin wind.

~Few Days Later~

"Katniss open the door" Peetas voice says from the other side

"Just piss off, leave me alone" I say leaning against the door, accidentally sniffing at the end

"Katniss, just let me in, please" Peeta begs and I sigh and unlock the door and step away, he walks in, locking the door, great, now I can't leave

"Peeta I-I can't deal with this! Please! Your making it so hard to move on!" I cry and he walks up to me grabbing my arms and I push him out of the way

"Katniss, just hear me out I don't love Delly" he says

"And I'm expected to believe that! We can get on with our happy lives! Get married to me! Have children with me while your hooking up with Delly knocking her up! I'm sorry but I don't want to live like that!" I cry

"Katniss I would ne-" he trails off but I'm not done

"I mean have you ever stopped to think about me and how I feel! I mean take some fuckin-" I'm cut off with him kissing me, him cupping my cheeks tightly and he brakes away

"I love you and only you, you didn't let me finish, Delly isn't into guys" he says and I look at him as if he's joking

"Great! Now I'm feeling fucking horrible for braking up with you for-" I start crying but he kisses me pinning me against the closest wall and I kiss back

"I don't give a crap, as long as you take me back" he says and I nod and he smiles and we continue kissing.

~The Next Day~

"I'm truly sorry Delly, I should've just let Peeta tell me but I didn't" I say and she smiles

"It's alright Katniss, really, I appreciate you confidently apologising" she says and I smile and hug her

"Honey, you ready to get some lunch?" A girl with drown hair ask approaching us

"Yeah babe, this is Katniss and Peeta by the way" Delly says and the girl smiles

"I'm Tiffany" she says and kisses Delly and they both walk away

"Told you" Peeta says and I hit his chest

"Shut up" I say kissing him, God I missed him
