Apparently John went out and got me a visa gift card that gives me enough money to buy a new wardrob plus more. The only catch was that I would have to take Tala over to Emily and Sam for daily visits, and once my pending job goes through at the hospital, for daily baby sitting. "Tala are you ready?" I called for the three-year-old child. "Almost!" She called from her new bedroom. "I need to find all of my toys!?" She continued. I sighed, knowing she would back too many toys, so I went to her room to help her pick out her favorite.

We were now on our way to Sam and Emily's house which was no more than five minutes away from our new house. I pulled into the drive way and I get out before letting Tala out. She skipped to the front door as I walked the same pace, and the last couple feet ran as she shouted, "I want to ring the doorbell!" I chuckled softly to myself and let the little girl run to the door.

After she rung the doorbell, the door slowly opened to reveal Emily's bright and happy face. "Aunt Emily!" Tala cried out as she litterally jumped onto Emily. "It's good to see you too Tala." Emily said as she hugged the tiny girl. Emily let her go and turned to me. I stood there a little awkward until I decided to speak. "Would you like me to just come back and pick her up later?" Emily looked up at me and frowned. "No, please stay. Maybe we can start new. I know John hurt you by what he had said, and it had nothing to do with me when you took off. I would like to formally get to know you. It will be nice to have another female in the house." She smiled. I returned the smile and entered the house when she offered.

"I am expecting the guys to be back soon, so I need to start making lunch for them." Emily told me as she walked towards the kitchen. "Tala you want to play with your toys at the table or over on the couch?" I asked as I bent down to be eye level with her. "Table!" She replied, "I want to be with you and Aunt Emily."'

I helped Emily cook and we made small talk while doing so, once we had finished we could hear people entering, who I assume were "the guys" and I could hear them slowly merging into the house. The first guy who came into the kitchen walked over to Emily and landed a sweet soft kiss on her lips. He turned to look at Tala and gave the small girl a hug, then looked to me, and gave Emily a confused look causing her to walk over and introduce me.

"This is Trinity, John's step daughter." Emily told him standing closer to me. "Trinity, this is my fiancee' and your step father's brother, Sam." I took a few steps to stand closer to Sam and reached my hand out to him. "It's nice to meet you." He smiled a very faint and small smil, taking my hand and saying, "Like-wise." Emily stepped closer to the two of us and said, "Trinity and I had just finished making dinner, will you get the rest of the guys in here please?" And almost as if they had super hearing and heard her, "the guys" started to trickle in fast.

"Hey! You're the surfer girl!" One of them said as they entered the kitchen. I let out a small laugh and said, "It's Trinity." The one who had previously spoke was the first to introduce themself. "Embry." The next guy stepped forward and reached his hand out to me. "I'm Jake." I returned the hand shake, and noted how abnormally warm he was. "And this is Quil, Jared, and Paul." He said as he pointed to each. When I made eye contact with the last, I felt my heart skip a beat and his face turned a very slight pink. "It's nice to officially meet you all." I said smiling.

I turned to Tala, and asked her, "Want to get your booster seat for lunch?" She jumped down, shouting a "yes" and then cries out, "I'll beat you to the car!" as she takes off, while I run after her, to make sure she didn't get hurt or kidnapped. I love moments like these with my little three-year-old sister.

(In the house with the guys)

Paul watched her as the older girl leave the house with the younger one, wanting nothing more than to follow after the two and protect his new found love of his life. An elbow jabbing his upper arm caused him to snap out of his thoughts. "What's wrong? You usually use some pick up line whenever you see a beautiful girl." Paul only grumbled, slightly irritated and left the kitchen to get away from the others, but they all followed. "Hey, Paul, did you imprint on her?" Embry asked, knowing the answer. Paul started to shake, "Of course I didn't! I will never imprint on anyone!" He denied. None of the guys believed it.

He opens the door and exits the house slaming the door behind him. He looked up only to catch eye contact with the most beautiful girl in his life. He immediately started to calm down. He frowned, not quite sure if he enjoyed the feeling or not and took off into the nearby forest. Not too much further behind him, he heard a female voice calling his name.

She had finally caught up with the much taller and darker, and younger male, although she had no idea that he was younger than her. "I know I haven't known you long, but I can tell you aren't yourself." She spoke, unsure of what to exactly say. "Would you like some company? We don't have to talk about your problems, most of the time having someone to sit in the silence with you helps." She continued, knowing this from experience. Paul slightly released a small smile, trying to hide it. She let out a soft chuckle, it was like music to his ears. "Don't try and hide that, I saw that smile." She said, smiling as she looked up at him.

"How do you know Emily and Sam?" He questioned. She turned to face the way they were walking with her hands cupped in front of her stomach. "Sam is my step-father's brother. The little girl with me is my half-sister, Tala, Sam's niece." Satisfied with the answer, Paul nodded.

"What made you guys move out here?" He asked out of curiousity. He saw that she had frowned for a second but as quickly as it came, it had left. He regreted asking the question, but she had answered anyways. "My step-father found where we lived was no longer safe, due to the accident with my mother. He told me it was a wild animal that attacked her, but I do not believe a word that he had said. He's hiding something from me."

Paul looked at her, wishing for nothing more than to hold her and tell her he would do everything in his power to keep her safe. He knew what her step-father was hiding from her, and it was his job to eventually reveal the secret he was hiding from his new found love of his life. "I'm sure you will find out when the time is right." Paul said. Trinity smiled, she loved hearing his words of comfort, even though they were not much.

Paul got lost in thought, while Trinity was comfortable in the silence, taking in the scenery, noting the area and taking a mental note to bring her camera with her next time. Paul though, was not liking the person she was making him to be, but at the same time enjoying it. He didn't want to change for her, so he thought as long as no one was around, it is alright for this new him to come up to the surface just for her.
