It had been a week since the night at the club.I’ve gotten closer to Melissa and April, and my feelings toward Paul are growing every moment I see him.Every Tuesday through Thursday I work, and I see Paul after he gets out of school on Mondays and Fridays and most of the day on Saturday and Sunday.
It was Friday and I was currently helping Tala get all of her stuff together to go over to Sam and Emily’s before getting ready for the day myself.I looked outside to see that it looked like it would rain soon, so I left my hair the way it was, which was wavy, and decided to put on a blue blazer with a grey sweater type cardigan over it, jeans, brown vintage Victorian style boots, and a gray beanie.
“Ready Tala?” I asked when I entered her room. She nodded and I grabbed my large black Juicy Couture bag and we locked up the house and went to my car to leave for Emily and Sam’s house.
We pulled up I got out and saw Paul off to the side of the house near the forest.I told Tala to go into the house and I made my way over to the young man that I was slowly falling in love with.“Hey, Paul.”I said as I approached him.He looked up and his face immediately brightened.“Trinity.”He said as he continued to smile. He met me half way and engulfed me in a hug.
“Is anything wrong?” I asked.“Normally you aren’t outside by yourself.” I stated.“I was actually waiting for you to come.”He responded.“I wanted to talk to you about something.” I looked at him a bit confused, wondering if he would finally tell me the truth.I guess I will find out.
(Paul)
He needed to tell her.He wanted no secrets between her and him.He wanted to spill it all, but he didn’t know how.He stood outside pacing, trying to figure out what he would even say to her.Was now the time to tell her?Or is later better? When he saw her walk up, he had decided to say something to her, but he was starting to chicken out.
“What’s up Paul?” She had asked. She was so beautiful, Paul just kept staring into her hazel green eyes.He wanted nothing but to capture her lips against his.He wanted her, all of her, but what if she didn’t want him around at all.He knew that wasn’t true, if she didn’t want him near her, she wouldn’t spend so much time alone with him.
“Paul?” Trinity questioned.Paul looked up and chickened out.“Forget it; I’m not ready to tell you yet.”Trinity smiled a sweet smile and took her hands in his.“Take your time, love, I am here to listen whenever you are ready.”His heart skipped a beat at what she had just called him.As if she had just realized what she had said, she started to blush a faint pink.
“Let’s go in and find everyone.” She said, and the two went inside to hang out with the people who were in there.
(Trinity)
He chickened out, I wish he hadn’t, I wanted him to trust me with every secret that he had, but I had to wait.I wanted him to tell me on his own terms.I watched him talking with Jared and Quil, arguing about something, what it was exactly, I wouldn’t be able to say, I had not heard.
I felt someone bump their elbow into my upper arm.“I know you like him.” I turned to see Embry.I smiled up at the younger but much taller boy.“Yet, he does not suspect a thing.” I replied.“I know it’s obvious, but he is blind.” I continued.I looked back at Paul, then to Embry again. He held a knowing smile on his face.“I’m glad you moved out here. You and your little sister make Sam and Emily so happy, and I have never seen Paul so calm before. You are good for everyone here, like an older sister to us all.” Embry told me.“Well, I’m glad you all don’t despise me.” I said.
He walked over to Paul and Quil and joined in on their argument.Wanting fresh air, I went outside to where I was talking to Paul earlier.I sat out there breathing in the fresh air and taking in the scenery.I heard a rustle in the forest behind me causing me to turn around.I looked around and saw nothing, but turned back the way I was facing originally and saw that beautiful person from the other day in front of me, only this time his eyes were red.
