1 month later

Jack POV
I sat in my room alone as I usually did. Ever since I lost my friends it had been quite painful. I hadn't really talked to many people. Most of the students went back to their homes. Only a few stayed but they left shortly after. The only ones who ever entered my room were the guardians and Astrid who had been pretty upset after losing Hiccup. The rest of the uh...Berkians...went home to mourn with their families but Astrid was determined to find out what happened.

"Jack!" Norths voice boomed as he entered my room, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"What?" I groaned.

"I need to talk to you about something."

"Fine just make it quick." I snapped.

"You know how your friends went missing about two months ago?" My jaw clenched at his words.

"Of course I do."

"Well I've been keeping something for you." I whipped around to face him.

"What do you mean you've been keeping something from me?" I asked trying to disguise my anger.

"Your friends aren't dead. They are like us." He said awkwardly laughing.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!?" I yelled. "I COULD HAVE BEEN SPENDING ALL THIS TIME WITH ELSA AND HICCUP AND EVERYONE ELSE!!!"

"They are all in the same area. The forest in Arendelle. You can go retrieve your friends and bring them back here. But Jack, they don't remember you. " I felt a rush if pain in my heart but I dismissed it.

"I'm going to get Astrid and we are going to get our friends back." I stormed out of my room and went to Astrid's.

"Jack! It's uh nice to see you out of your room. Are you feeling okay?" She asked unsure of why I was there.

"They're alive." I said. She looked me dead in the eyes.

"What?"

"Astrid, they're alive." I said a smile forming on my lips. She jumped up and wrapped her arms around my neck. I hugged her back.

"We have to go get them! Where are they?"

"North said they're all in Arendelle. I figured of you take StormFly we can cover more ground in the air."

"Yea she's in the stables. Jack, you can ride with me until we get to Arendelle. Than you'll be rested for our trip." I nodded and she grabbed my hand and dragged me to the stables. We got on her dragon and I wrapped my arms around her abdomen.

"Astrid I forgot to tell you something and I hope it won't change your mind about finding them."

"Nothing could change my mind." She smiled.

"They won't remember us. Hiccup won't know who you are." I felt her tense up slightly then relax again.

"Maybe it's for the best. We get to start fresh as friends. It was obvious he liked Merida and I'm okay with that. I want to move on." She was surprisingly positive.

"You know Astrid, I'm happy that you have been there for me over these past months." I smiled even though she couldn't see it.

"Same here Jack. Now it looks like we're in Arendelle so let's go look." She spoke. I hopped off the dragon and flew to the forest. I flew above until I saw a flash of platinum blond hair. Elsa! I flew to the forest and the sight made me weak. I collapsed in sorrow and fell to the ground. Elsa was kissing Eugene.
