Kristoff POV
I brought everyone to the wisest people I knew, my family. They were thrilled to see us all and I got a few knowing looks when I introduced Anna but luckily I managed to stop them from proposing to her for me. They instead focused on Elsa and Jack's romance. The pair seemed ready to gush except for the looming cloud of why we had come that was hanging over us.
Once they sensed the distress, Grand Pabbie came forward and pulled us aside. Instead of taking all of us, Jack, Elsa and I left the others behind so we could explain the situation more privately.
"We have no idea what we're up against but without the guardians, it's up to us to stop them." Elsa sighed, rubbing small circles around Jack's hand with her thumb.
"It seems to me that you all don't truly believe you are guardians."
"As a team, we're still getting used to the idea. It's a lot of responsibility." I explained with a slight shrug.
"Our self-confidence isn't exactly why we're here." Jack ran a hand through his hair.
"We need to know how to stop them." Elsa finished Jack's thought. "Or at least their weaknesses. They have the guardians so we need some way to even the playing field; Give us a fighting chance."
"I think I might have a way to help you." He admitted before waddling away from us. Jack called everyone else away from the rest of my family. Rapunzel reluctantly set one of the young ones back onto his feet and joined us as Jack started talking. He explained what Grand Pabbie suggested before he came back to give us more information. With him, he had a large cauldron, filled with a bubbling liquid.
"You want us to drink that?" Eugene asked, turning his nose up at the smell.
"It will bring you to a place that will give you all the information you need." He gestured for Elsa to make a cup and she did. Soon enough, all of us were holding ice glasses filled with a magical concoction. "Once you find the key, you will escape and you will know the truth. But I must warn you, if anything happens to you, it will carry over into the real world." We all exchanged worried glances and I looked at the liquid that was sloshing around in my cup. Anna slipped her hand into mine, tossing me a reassuring smile.
"Together." Elsa raised her glass and everyone followed her lead. We clinked our glasses together before downing the liquid. At first, nothing happened. Then my whole body began to tingle and I fell to the ground getting lost in the depths of my mind.
