So, as some of you might know, I went to a Fall Out Boy concert yesterday (October 20th) and I even had the privilege to have VIP-tickets so I could meet them. So, in this super extra premium exclusive amazing etc. chapter, I'm going to tell you everything about yesterday. Grab some popcorn, strap yourself in and join me on my emotional rollercoaster.

We arrived WAY too early at the venue so we just had to wait there, in the cold... with unknown people... nervous as hell... Yeah, that was kinda awkward. (If you wonder who 'we' is; it's me, RightWayIsTheGeeWay and my mother)

So we waited there for ages until the doors opened and we could wait inside. For another fucking hour. We met two people there who were nice. One of them was called Colin, I don't remember the name of the other person. So, we waited there, but this time it wasn't as bad because we had other people to talk to.

We got a very cool VIP keycord and some guy told us that we weren't allowed to ask them to sign anything. My mother was very disappointed by that because she spent a lot of time making birthday cards for me, and she wanted them to write happy birthday on it. (My birthday is the 22th).

Finally, we went into the hall where the show was going to be. The entire right wall was a bar, and we had to wait in a line there. At the furthest corner was some kind of screen and we knew they were standing there, behind the screen. If you were next, you had to stand next to the security guy -alone- and wait until you were allowed in.

That Colin dude we met in line had brought his guitar, which was the same white one as Patrick has, and wanted him to sign it. Since that wasn't allowed, he said he just wanted to bring the guitar to show Patrick. When he came back, he had a huge smile on his face.

We asked him why, and he told us that Patrick signed it anyway. This gave my mother a little more hope and she brought the birthday cards with her, even though we had to put all of our stuff on a table.

RightWayIsTheGeeWay went before me and I could hear her ask is she could hug them. That was literally the first thing she said. She came back with a kind of shocked expression on her face and my body was almost exploding with nerves.

Now it was my turn to wait next to the security guard. I could see Joe's shoulder around the corner of the screen. I was literally dying and it felt like I could collapse at any moment. Then I could finally go. I walked around the corner and there they were.

"Hey!", Patrick said, really happy and almost excited. "How are you?". I was completely blown away. They were actually there. Patrick's voice was higher than I expected but he sounded so sweet!

"I'm great!", I responded awkwardly. "I was so nervous for this!". I was literally on the verge of crying and Pete looked so sweet at me and they were all so cute and they were there and... Then Patrick said the most beautiful, sweetest and most adorable thing ever.

"Aww, but it's just me!".

He genuinely didn't believe somebody could be nervous for meeting him. He thought he was just a normal person and that nobody should be nervous for that. He said it like he had known me for years. That small sentence made all my nerves disappear.

We were standing there for the picture and Patrick and Pete put their arm around me and it felt so safe and so nice and I just never wanted them to let go and it was just ugh... so perfect. I believe I have never smiled so much for a picture in my entire life.

"Can I- Can I hug you?", I then asked Patrick, which I believe was the most awkward thing ever but apparently, Patrick didn't mind.

"Sure!", he said and he gave me the biggest hug ever. He was about as tall as I was and he was so soft and warm and sweet and nice and adorable. He is literally the most perfect human being I've ever seen.

"Can I hug you too?", I asked Pete after that, still shaky from what happened just then.

"Of course!", he said and he seemed almost happy I asked it. I hugged him too and he felt much more muscular than Patrick. He was taller than I am so I felt so small! I then waved really happily and hyper at Andy and Joe and Andy smiled back and it was so cute!

I then had to leave and waved again and they all waved back and said "Bye!" and I said "Thank you so much!" like 20 times.

When I walked back to my friend, I was literally almost crying. I was hyperventilating because of everything that happened and eventually, I was actually crying tears of joy. I never do that!

My mother came back smiling like crazy and I asked her what happened. Apparently, she showed the cards to them and told about how my birthday was in two days and even though the security guard told them not to, they signed it anyway!

And she said it had happened because Patrick wasn't at all impressed by the orders of the security.

"Ah, that crap", Patrick said, ignoring the security guard, and he just grabbed a marker from the table and signed them as fast as he could and so did the others although the security guard was trying to prevent them from doing it.

"That girl that just walked away, she's my daughter", my mother said to them. "It's for her".

"Really?", Patrick replied. "You have a great daughter!".

He said I was great! Patrick Stump said I was great! So, they signed the cards. Patrick put 'Have a great birthday!!!' on there and signed it. Pete signed it too and put 'Happy bday!' on it. Andy signed it and said 'Hello <3' which I found incredibly sweet and Joe just signed it.

The support act -Charley Marley- was pretty great, especially one moment. I was just dancing and he looked me right in the eye and smiled. I was kinda confused and smiled back, reaching out for him like most people do at a concert. He smiled even more after this and kept looking at me. It was freaking adorable!

So, the show was amazing and we were extremely close! One moment, when they played American Beauty/American Psycho they put those balloons in the sky. I shot one towards the stage and Patrick popped it with his guitar and smiled at me. I shot one towards Pete too and he shot it back at me, also smiling at me.

One moment made me really emotional. A kind of monologue Pete did before Uma Thurman. He said that it doesn't matter what you do, singing, making art, playing in a band... Whatever you do now, you're gonna be great at it. And one day you'll realize, you can move mountains.

They even played Fourth of July and Jet Pack Blues which I didn't think they were gonna play. I will put the entire setlist at the end of the chapter.

After the show I bought a shirt with all the tour dates on the back and the a picture from the AB/AP photoshoot with WE ARE THE POISONED YOUTH on it. And that was it. The best day of my life came to an end.

As I write it down like this, it almost sounds like one of my stories and it's insane to think that this actually happened to me. I am completely ecstatic and still a bit in shock but it was all worth it. Thank you for reading this and if you've also been to a Fall Out Boy concert, share your experiences in the comments.
