A/N. Just a quick update, this is the first chapter of my first story and I'm no good at introductions. So special thanks to my friend, Ravenclaw_coconut, for giving me the introduction ideas. Above is Emilia! (Victoria Justice). I think she's perfect for the role. More characters to come as the chapters go on.

As much as I hated to admit it, New York was beautiful at night. The streets looked like they were paved with gold from the orange glow the lights created. Cars with white and red lights speeded across the highway. Lights that reached to the clouds on buildings that seemed to go on forever. With the occasional flying red flashing lights against the black sky. The walkways were covered with people milling around, looking at the shops, and eating out. Whilst the occasional bike rider zipped along the sidelines of the road. The whole city was sparkling with the recent sprinkle of rain, and the refreshing smell of it filled my lungs as I breathed deep the air of New York City.

I'll have to find a place to stay.

Walking at a leisurely pace, I found a grand looking hotel- Stay Bridge Suites.

This'll do , I thought as I casually walked into the hotel. Immediately I was greeted by a very smiley woman. She looked as though she wanted to be anywhere but here.
"Welcome to Stay Bridge Suites! The hotel fit for royalty."
I smirked, that's convenient.
"Will you be staying long?"
"Yes actually, however I'm not exactly sure how long exactly."
"Oh, um, you must have some sort of idea," her smile faltered.
"No, I really don't, but I'm sure we can arrange something," I gave her the sweetest smile I could muster. I happened to be very good at masking my face. I looked deep into her eyes. Her brain immediately shut down.

"Oh! Of course! I believe that the penthouse suite is unoccupied."

"That sounds lovely."

"Wonderful! I'll send someone up to deliver your things."

"Thank you. That would be much appreciated." I smirked, that was much too easy.

The woman wasn't lying, the suite was fit for royalty. I felt a lump in my throat as I thought of home. it looked almost exactly like it. Except at home, my bed sheets and curtains were made of silk, and at home, the view wasn't city lights and a black sky, it was a beautiful golden kingdom, with a sapphire blue ocean. And the sky, it was the most beautiful thing. Instead of black at night, you could see every single star, and even some planets. In the day, the 2 suns would bring light and warmth, stretching over the clear blue sky, no smog, or pollution anywhere in sight. The light making the golden city shimmer and gleam. I forced down the lump.

Remember why your here, Emilia, this is no time for reminiscing, you have a job to do.
