Karly finally picked out a dress to wear on her date. It was very beautiful. It was a white skater dress with a see-through lace in-built belt around her waist. It had a lace skirt and she wore a white headdress to go with it. Her shoes were strapped gladiator high heels. To top it off, she wore gold bracelets around her wrist. It suited her perfectly. 

"Are you sure this is the one?"

"Oh my gosh! Stop asking me that! Yes! It is, I promise."

She looked uncomfortable. "I'm sorry! I've never had a reson to dress up before." She blushed slightly. 

I stared, dumbfounded, at her.

"What!" She glared at me.

"All you have to do is think about Nate and all of a sudden your going red! Really?"

"I can't help it!"

I grinned at her. "Come on Lover Girl, let's get you home and ready for your date tonight."

She gave me a small smile. "Shut up Cheshire Cat."

Nate came at 8 to pick up Karly. His eyes bugged out of his head when he saw her. 

"Um-uh, h-hi," He plastered a weak smile on his face.

Oh my gosh Nate, really? You see her everyday and only now your getting the jitters around her? Your pathetic.

Shut up Em, you obviously don't know how the mind of a guy works.

I smiled. He did look good. I could see why Karly liked him so much. But he was no more than a friend to me.

"Hi Nate."

"Ummm, the- uh, car's waiting, outside." He pointed to the door.

I smirked. Who are you and what have you done with Nate?

He shot me a glare. Unfortunately, Karly saw it.

"What's wrong Nate?"

"Nothing, lets go." With that, he led her out the door.

I scoffed. "Guys."
