Vaiela

"Where is my daughter? I require a conversation with her!"

"M-my Lord, your daughter, the princess Emilia Gracefield - "

"I know perfectly well what my daughters name is thank you very much! I demand to speak with her!"

"Well, Lord, as I was saying, your daughter seems to have vanished. "

The King of Vaiela was in obvious shock, as his daughter, his precious daughter, had vanished completely. As her father they shared an empathetic link, which allowed him to sense if she was in any sort of danger, it also told him where she was and what she was feeling if he so chose to let that part of their connection through. Normally, there was a sense of her presence, just floating there, like a wisp of fog, it was just always there, from the moment his wife gave birth. It was a sacred connection shared only between a father and his daughter. It had significantly weakened since she went to earth, but it was still there, until last night.

24 Hours Before

Last night, the King of Vaiela woke suddenly in the early hours of the morning, unaware of what awoke him. He got up, feeling slightly off, but couldn't quite place the feeling as he was exhausted. Making his way to his bathroom suite, Emilia's father tried desperately to place the feeling of... emptiness  that he felt in that moment. He splashed water on his face and looked in the mirror. Being the King he hadn't really had time to focus on himself. He looked old, he realised. His once chiseled, handsome face was paling and there were slight wrinkles around his eyes and forehead, is hair was no longer a striking black, but a faded black, with a touch of grey near his sideburns. Around his mouth was the memory of a beard that no longer existed.  But what really surprised him was his eyes. He had often been told that his eyes were the most striking feature of his face, in his youth, his eyes were a striking blue framed with thick lashes that girls would kill for. Now, they had faded to a dull blue, it was as if the light had gone out of them. He wondered if it was because Emilia had gone to earth. No, he thought, Emilia's just a telepathic call away, he smiled to himself.
He thought for a moment.
Then his smile dropped.

Running from the bathroom he awoke his wife.

"My darling, wake up, Emilia is gone."

"Oh honey, I know, she's been on Earth for months now, remember?"

"Yes, I know but she's gone. I can't feel her anymore. The link's been severed."

After that, there was a flurry of bodies throughout every hallway in the castle. Everyone was trying to contact the Princess.

Eventually they had to stop. The Peacekeeping councils meeting was on and the King couldn't miss that. He had hoped that his daughter would make an appearance. But she didn't. His anxiousness turned to annoyance. His annoyance slowly turned into anger, and that anger very quickly turned to rage.

It was at this moment that Josh called Emilia Gracefield, to warn her. He knew that it was a long shot, that she probably wouldn't even talk to him after the way he treated her only months before. But he had to try.

Bobby, having just returned from the council meeting, and having just heard that Emilia was missing, took it on himself to find her and warm her himself. While she was an annoying little brat in his eyes, on some level he did care about her, and didn't want to see her hurt.

Now
Earth - Emilia's POV

I don't know why I listened to Bobby, but I did anyway. I had to break contact with my planet. It took a lot of peer to sever the connection between my father and I, but I managed, barely. I haven't told Nate or Karly anything, except that there was some family drama going on and I had to break ties with a few of my family members for the time being. Karly pretended to understand. Nate understood half of it. No I'm sitting on my bed sobbing. Breaking the connection with my dad was the hardest thing. I had grown up with it there. It was just, always there. Now it's not. And I feel empty. Like a part of me is missing. I know that what I just did makes me look bad. That my dad is going to send people after me. But I honestly don't care. I'll deal with them. Nate will help.  Karly will help as much as she can once she knows everything. And I do intend to tell her. In the fright place, at the right time.
For now though. I'll lay low. But things are about to get very interesting on Earth.
