Rin and I returned from the air barn. Why did he hug me, I thought to myself. The question burned in my head. "Hey you two, I was starting to get lonely." Rica said happily. I wonder what got her in a good mood. "I told Rin that he could stay at are place, are you ok with that?" I said in the hopes that Rica would be nice about it. Rica lets out a long sigh. "I guess it'll be fine." Rica says with a somewhat sarcastic tone of voice. Most of the walk home it was silent except for Rin thanking us. "Here we are." Rica said as she spread he wings. "See ya in the morning." She flew up to the to of the roof. "Good night Rica!" I called out. I unlocked the door and walked in. "Are you coming in Rin?" I asked. He nod and followed me into my three roomed house. I show Rin to his room and leave him to settle in. Why did he hug me? I thought to myself. So I decided i would ask him about it during dinner.
I prepared dinner and we are both chowing down on large portions of pasta. I swallow a bit of the pasta and clear my throat. "Hey Rin, can i ask you something?" I ask Rin with a calm voice. "Ask away." He says with a slight grin on his face. "I-I was wondering why you hugged me in the armory?" I asked a little hesitantly. He bursts out laughing almost spilling his drink. Still giggling he replies "I'm a dog, I express my feelings through my actions." Whats that supposed to mean!? I thought. "So...what where you emotions at the time." I said a little worried about what the answer might be. "Gratefulness." He said in a low tone.
