There was a land far away that may not have even been on the planet you know of as Earth. It had 9 continents in which people lived on all but one. This planet had the same climates Earth but it was different the north stayed warm all year and south was nearly always frozen. The people who lived in the North had never visited the south, while the same goes for the people in the south. It was some urban legend they had that there was a curse which was "if you passed the "equator" you would be instantly obliterated. Some thought this was fine as they that lived in the south would love to feel the warmth every once in a while, but the curse struck their most loved one as well. If someone passed through the barrier it would kill the loved one instantly." This is why they have a border patrol because it is considered murder to kill another person (as I'm sure your aware of this). People were scared and gave up hope of ever meeting new people just because they were afraid of losing that one person. Some legends also state of a lost continent somewhere in the middle of the globe that was lost to the Great barrier. This was a beautiful continent that was neither too hot nor too cold and it is full of green trees and grass. The people from Earth had spoken of a place on their world that was like the legends they spoke of different seasons in which they called spring and fall". But the first person to have gone through was a man named Chase Oakley, He had come from Earth after the first of many great wars took place. His ignorance kept him from noticing the barrier as he walked towards it he heard a noise. A loud ringing was piercing his ear yet he felt it was normal. No one knows what the noise was or what was causing it but Mr. Oakley (an alien too us) was the first man to be recorded of dying to the barrier. He made history. But only legend knows how the barrier got their and what causes barrier to stay and kill people. It is said that in the first Great War the battle was fought between our people here in the north and the people down south this was because the people in the south were cold and wanted to be allowed in the north. The continent of Canier (which is the furthest south of the North of our planet) was slammed with attacks and nearly conquered. 3years went by and as the south had finally made it to the top of Canier the Northern army pushed them back all the superior continents of the north had more mechanisms to combat with like stone swords and slingshots. Hundreds of thousands were killed on Canier and so the first Great War was named the Battle for Canier. The thing that made this war peculiar was not that the North had won a seemingly unwinnable war but the south caused the curse that separated the 2 halves of our world. The south had a "mage" which is some kind of magician who had spoken the words to cause such a wall to stop the north from advancing into the south. I think it had to be the smartest thing to do for the south. The weird thing about it is the fact that No one even attempted to go past the wall the Troops of the North stopped as the men on the frontlines saw the mage speak the words of power and the wall was constructed. What was left of the southern army in the north had been made P.O.Ws (Prisoners of War) or killed. The northern continent was in a time of peace but unknown to the north the south had been having some land issues over the decade
