Chapter 14
I was taught that the life span of a "normal" person on this planet was about 84 years. But I hadn't made it to Even half of that and had already experienced multiple deaths. This would be added to that portfolio because I had not perished In the fire. An person unknown to me and apparently everyone else had pulled me out of the blaze. It was strange no one had even seen the man enter or leave the scene. It was particularly strange that this person hadn't stayed around to receive the glory of saving a man's life. I hadn't regained consciousness yet but somehow saw outside of my body I could see a shady figure run away from my body in all the chaos. They stopped , ran back, touched the left side of my chest and muttered a few words under their breath. From that they took off running. I was left in awe as my body had started twitch and my conscious body started to fade. I quickly sat up, gasping for breath that would not enter my lungs quickly enough. My body surprisingly did not hurt or burn but I was exhausted. Had I died. Was this vision I had, my soul leaving me and watching as I was revived? It was insane how much magic had advanced in this world. I started looking around for the others who seemed to be nowhere around. Hmph must of left me for dead. I heard the locals chattering amongst themselves
