Invastion

A week before
Mikasa's pov

As I swing through the trees I hear a voice shouting my name frantically "akerman akerman abort mission now" I turned to see it was the one and only captain Levi. "What's the matter sir" I say with an emotionless tone I worry for eren and armin. "You and I are going assist the Petra and the others with protecting eren for now" my eyes brightened slightly and I sped off behind Levi towards eren a small smile is present behind my scarf.

Eren's pov

I speed behind the SOC as we weave through the forest perfect terrain for 3dmg. I don't feel right about this plan either. Why haven't the rest of the scouting legion join us down this path? Why did they stop so suddenly? What was that desperate Titan cry I herd just a moment ago? What are they not telling me? "Just trust us eren" Petra's words echo in my head until I see mikasa. What the hell is she doing. She is suppose to be with the rest of the legion. A sudden pang of jealousy spread through my body. She always is trying to protect me and is always stronger then me. Who does she think she is. As if reading my thoughts Levi shouts. "Akerman here is going to assist you In this mission please update her on the task at hand" then Petra whispered to her. Why didn't they tell me I am as important as she it. Mikasa swerved next to me and smiled. "I don't need you protecting me so just leave me alone I never needed you" I say to her in a hushed voice. She looked hurt and I regretted it but I don't need her following my around everywhere. She backed off with a hurt expression but soon put on her emotionless mask. Only Levi saw what happened and shot me a death glare.

Levi's pov

That little brat eren is always hurting mikasa. He needs to learn some manners. Ever since I beat him up in the court room she has hated me but I can't help but to feel as though I need to protect her. I see myself in her and that's why I need to train her to perfection. The way she uses her 3dmg is perfect. She is the only one who could match my skill. That is why I brought her along. We need to secure the female Titan and isolate her. We need to know who she is and what her motives are. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a loud Titan roar. Many Titans flooded the area my squad cut them down with fluid motion. I noticed mikasa was laying off eren a whole lot. He must have really hurt her. I wish he would man up a bit. I closed my eyes for a second and when I opened them my squad was being smashed one by one. Petra looked at me her eyes was full of hurt as she was being crushed. The little heart I had left was crushed. I turn to see eren bite his hand.

Mikasa's pov

Everything happened so suddenly people dieing one by one. Eren turning into a Titan and Levi's eyes flashing with so many emotions. Hurt, guilt, pain, loss, and anger. Eren was out of control he was killing everything in sight. Then the unthinkable happened. Someone sliced the back of eren's neck his nape was sliced open. Eren's Titan form fell to the ground. He did not move he only evaporated. "No" I yell as I speed towards eren. As I get close to his body heat surrounds me. I try to see if any of his human body remains. All i see is a midsection and part of his legs. His head and the remainder of his legs where gone. I cried until someone came and dragged me away along with eren's remains. Soon enough armin dies to. He was eaten by a Titan while I was mourning eren's dead body. Only his arm remained (I did not intend on armin's arm remaining but it was the first thing I thought of) why does my family and everyone I care for always die.
