"Kiss me...please. Just once so that I can get over the fact that you'll never do so willingly" I ask as she allows me to lean towards her. She mirrors my actions while closing her eyes to prepare herself. With her scent up this close it's hard for me to think. "You know if you would have told me earlier that you so longed for this it could have been a regular occurrence." She says while closing the gap. Her lips were slightly chapped but still perfect like everything about her. She does not only provide me with the kiss I asked for but multiple more along with it in continuous succession. I feel her breath against my face as we slightly part. She grins in the way she always does after achieving victory in sparring. I lean in for more and she leans in willing. I dip lower to her neck and kiss at her pulse point to find it beating rapidly. She clutches on to me and my eyes snap open.

ANNIES POV

"Hey, you told me to wake you up at day brake? I hope I did not disturb you. I know it's a little earlier than that but you seemed uncomfortable? I'm not sure how to read your body at the moment I'm sorry" Mikasa rushes hurriedly as she apologizes for waking me. " it's fine truly. My dream was quite surreal though" I respond hoping I'm not a blushing mess. Why would I dream something like that at a time like this?! As we load up our horses I continue to lead her to where I could help her the most.
"What did you dream about? If you do not mind me asking." Mutters Mikasa as we ride while covering our tracks. "Do you really want to know?" I respond with thinking back on the distant dream version of her saying "if you would have told me earlier this could have been a regular occurrence." She is silent for a few trots until she finally speaks again. " was it like any of the dreams I had recently?" She finishes "no If was actually one of the best dreams I've had in a long long time." I sigh wondering if that dream would ever become a reality.

Sensing my slightest discomfort she lets it go. If she would have asked me one more time with that sweet curiosity in her eyes I would have told her every little detail and how I would have liked to claim her as mine. Ugh titan instincts make everything a lot harder. Personally I'd like to take care of her and make her feel safe. But when my titan leaks into my consciousness it only seeks to claim and destroy all that's in my way. "We are here stop 4 meters ahead and I'll get us in." I say as we near our destination. She gives me a questionable look as we stop in the middle of a tall grass field. I close my eyes and bring forth the memory of the exact location of the hatch the will allow us entry. My memory triggers and I step to the exact location and unlock he hidden door. "The horses will need to stay out here if they are fearful of caves and underground. If not the stairs are wide enough for them to come down. I start walking as I hear Mikasa shuffle to bring her horse with her mine just follows.

As I turn the lights on there are labs and bunkers on display. She glances around in slight awe and Major skepticism. "How will this help me?" Mikasa speaks in a slightly abrasive tone quickly correcting herself seemingly not trying to come off as harsh. "For one I'm seeing if we have any back stock spinal fluid and two I have someone down here that can help you with coping and your nightmares." I Finnish trying to add a soothing tone to my voice knowing that she needs it now more than ever. I can tell she hasn't been sleeping just to avoid her dreams. Her eyes flash with a speck of hope as it is soon guarded by her eyes of steel.

"Welcome back Annie my dear. Who might this young lady be?" A loud and thunderous voice fills the room. A very tall man covered head to toe in a heavy black trench coat formally known as the ape titan approaches them both. Mikasa shifts closer to me as I look towards the man. "This is Mikasa I want you to help her with the transition." I state plainly subconsciously guarding her. "Is she a titan? Why haven't I been notified?" He raises his voice. "We wouldn't have known and she is in the newest stages. It hasn't even been a month yet." I yell defensively.

The shift in the atmosphere was intense. Under normal circumstances I'd never snap at the ape like that. Out of all of his agents I was always the most respectful and obedient. "I see... I will check to see if we have anymore fluid in back stock." He says leaving the two of us alone. "Are you ok Mika?" I say mentally hitting myself for calling her that. "I'm...ok" she hesitates. "Why not Ackerman anymore?" She asked " back in training you would always call me by my last name. Never my first and definitely not Mika." She finishes. "It's because I care about you. I was not going to show that in front of all the other cadets. Then they would think of me as weak. I have a lot of enemies and if they even thought for a second I had a weakness or someone else they could target because of me then that would have sucked. Your strong and you care so deeply for others. Just watching you live is amazing." I say, hoping that somehow I did not look like a fool for saying such things. I looked at her in the eyes and she smiled a little bit. "Thank you Annie. I would be alone in this world if someone did not care about me. Everyone I love dies though. Would you feel up to dealing with that kind of fate?" By the time she finishes she's out of breath. "Anything for you...Mika."
