Adaptation

  It was 5:00 in the morning and I heard an urgent knock on my door. I slowly walked up to it composeing myself, putting on my emotionless mask to cover up my pain. As i open the door I see captain levi fully dressed in his battle uniform. "Get dressed Akerman this is an emergency mission the Titans have breached the wall. Without your brat of a brother we can't seal it like last time. Get out their solder we need you." He says I can see flashes of the memories I had last time I fought the Titans and it was not pleasant. Anger swelled inside me as he spoke those words. He insults my dead family member then he asks me to fight? Who dose he think he is? I stare at him with a stoic expression with a speck of anger. "As you wish." I say as I slam the door in his face. I quickly get dressed clutching my prized red scarf and burst through the door with my gear on. The only though that was going through my head was KILL THEM ALL. I cut down titan after titan not worrying about my safety what so ever. Having nothing to protect anymore gives me nothing to live for. I cut away at every titan I see without remorse. I have to avenge my brother and armin. With that though in mind my thoughts go blank. Blind rage is the only sensation I feel. Titans are falling at my feet at I cut them down savagely. When my mind resurfaces every titan around me is dead. Mindlessly butchered. I turn around to see my comrades looking at me. I look closer to see that they are petrified beyond measure. Then their expressions transform from terror to amazement. "Mikasa you killed all of those Titans by yourself you are amazing even better then captain levi you saved us all mikasa." Jean say as he slowly walks towards me. I feel a weird pain in my head similar to the ones I had as a child. I back away from Jean and clutch my head. The pain steadily increases and I feel my emotions spin out of control. I turn and shoot myself towards the next wall. More Titans are in that direction but at this moment I do not care. I need to escape something is happening to me. I hear distant shouts but I ignore them. I see a horde of Titans coming right at me and I cut them all down with inhuman like ease. Every thing is going fine until I see two children running from some Titans. An older brother and a younger sister. I help them without s second thought risking my life without regret. This is what eren would want me to do right? As I get them to safety everything goes black and I can hear the kids scream. I open my eyes to see that I have been eaten. "I must protect those kids I think to myself. They will die and suffer the same fate as I. I can't fail again I must do this. I have to do this so I can't die now." I yell as I feel myself heat up to temperatures inhumanly possible. My vision fades as I hear the sound of lightning striking. I MUST KILL THEM ALL.

Ten minuets earlier Levi's pov

I speeded over the wall after hearing the news over Akerman's performance. If someone is killing Titans better then I was I wanted to see if for my self. I land on the ground and look to my left to see Akerman already speeding away slicing every Titan in her path and she looked pissed. I run over to Jean for a report and what i heard was shocking. I prepare my self to follow Akerman as I hear the sound of lightning. This can't be good I think to myself as i glide through the air. If I hear lightning that means theirs a titan shifter near by. I turn the corner to see a 20 meter female titan with a white and grey pigment to its skin. It had red eyes and a rock hard muscle tone. It also had short raven colored hair. The titan was doing something abnormal. The titan was protecting two small children. I was driven to attack the abnormal female titan. But I decided to deal with it later and kill the rest of the Titans. As I killed the rest of the Titans I realized that it hand something warped around its neck and mouth similar to a scarf but I thought nothing of it. As the battle escalated the smaller Titans started to gang up on the 20 metter. With a cry of desperation it quickly uncoiled what was wrapped around its neck. Surprisingly it was a pair of Crimson red wings with sharp tips. The 20 meter class titan killed with efficiency while still protecting the two children. Back to back Titans where falling at its feet as it ripped their heads off. The fight died down and all the Titans died at the tired female Titans hands. The Titan collapsed and steam began to bellow off its body. I quickly began to talk the human body out of the Titan and I was utterly shocked. It was Mikasa Akerman and to my amazement her scarf survived.she has a lot of explaining to do.
