Brigade

Titans of all shapes and sizes flooded the area with a new since of action. They are usually not as active in the time of the waking sun since they would just be waking up from their nightly slumber. Something is wrong and the behavior of these titans are abnormal. I glance towards the direction I believe my beloved had ran off too. That horrid excuse for a home busted and destroyed by the very thing she became. He just wanted to see her again. To feel her hair between his fingers and to finally kiss those sweet lips if she'd let him. His thoughts are interrupted as a crash 55 meters in front of him captures his attention.

A titan with lengthy limbs makes Levi's squad it's target. As it twists and runs and awkward angles it's eyes burn with resolve and the ultimate goal of eating them. Levi sends his orders to his small formation with haste wanting to keep to a more direct route towards Mikasa. As his squad is working to kill the abnormal sending black smoke up another appears. This one is more on the taller side it's body was bulging with vein like structures. Instead of attacking the people directly it destroyed the terrain around them effectively cutting them from further distance. This was going to go bad really fast of they did not act faster. "Formation DELTA" Levi screamed As he launched himself in the air. The rest of his squad members followed suit but instead of going high they went low while deploying more smoke bombs to prevent sight of the titans.

Levi attacked the eyes of the titans while his squad disabled movement by slashing tendons and limbs while under the cloak of the smoke. Everything was going well until more and more titans began to show. 3 times out of 10 they were sadly abnormal. Levi has never in all of his years of titan slaying seen these ratios. At most he would only encounter 3 abnormal per trip outside the walls. Him and his squad were able to kill 3 of the abnormal and 7 regular titans before drawing back proceeding to the longer route to his destination. He could not risk dying before getting to his Mikasa already laying claim in her feeling that they where destined to be. That jean brat has nothing on him. He could not even dream to provide her of what she needs.

She needs someone who feels the exact pain and wants that she feels. The constant facade of strength and stability. Being labeled as humanity's strongest was a hard pill to swallow. He had no room for weakness of simple pleasures of life. The upholding of an entire legion of people and always putting them to their deaths outside the walls. That's something your mind does not come out of intact. Just the constant torment of not knowing if your even human anymore because you cannot feel a thing. Not even a shred of empathy. Mikasa could understand that more than anyone else. Like him she was forced a title and had to live up to its standards and he knows her front is bull. He knows her pain snd she knows his all to well.

He continues to push his horse to its limits so that he can get to her. His squad following him at neck breaking speeds. He will find her.

JEANS POV
Worthless worthless worthless!!! That's all he was. She did not care for him then and she then And does not care for him now. He was foolish to believe that he had a chance against someone like Levi or even Annie. When eren was alive all she cared about was him. Any of jeans advances had been ignored and she had not even payed any attention to him. But now he thought he had a chance with that stupid Baka gone. He cursed himself for thinking that way. She should not even think to celebrate his death thinking that it gave him the upper hand in winning something. She really was hurt by his death and if she ever found out that he rejoiced then that would be the end of him.

Captain Levi went out to search for Mikasa and he should have been there. The reason he was not chosen for the group was because he was jealous that he himself could have a shot at Mikasa's love. She is such and eternal beauty waiting to be loved and cared for. "I just want to give her a life that she always dreamed of" he whispered to the waking sun. As he walked back to his dorm he could only think about the impending doom that could possibly fall on his captain.

ANNIE'S POV
I see wreckage and fallen buildings everywhere. Is this even the place to look? I managed to pass Levi up while channeling some of my titan energy to draw some titans that way. I needed to slow them down if I wanted to get to Mikasa first. I look some more until I see a figure struggling to get though rubble of a fallen home. "MIKASA!" I yell with joy in my voice. I encourage my horse chestnut to run faster. I know she does not hear my voice as she whistles for her own horse. As the elegant black steed draws close to her I hear incoming titans. My heart races as she speeds off and I give chase. I close my eyes once more and draw her into complete focus in my mind. "MIKASA MIKASA MIKASA MIKASA!!!" My mind sparks once more and I can see her jolt. At that split few seconds I was able to catch up with her. "Mikasa! I've been looking for you since you left. I was worried that you would be gone forever." My voice turns solemn as I look into her tormented eyes. As we continue ridding away from the titans she contemplates what she was going to say next. "I just had to go. There is something here that can't rest until solved. Something eren could not complete." Mikasa replies with a small broken voice. Her confusion is evident but I know there is something more that she was not telling me. My mind goes back to the symptoms she had been experiencing. "Mikasa look. I know this is going to sound weird coming from me but I genuinely care for you. It might not look it but I really do. Can you perhaps follow me I have something that will help you." I plead with a look on my face that conveyed the desire to care and help her. She looked at me for a long while, like she was really debating on trusting me.

"I'll go but on one condition. You need to tell me exactly why you want to help and how you knew where I'd be and what I needed help with" she states slowly as if running every sequence in her mind of how this can turn out. "Ok it all started when I was young in a place called paradis"
