Chapter 9:Amy's Aquatic Nightmare

Day 372:12/21/13 continued

Don't get on my bad side today. I am not in the mood. It's time to go to war. OK so at times I didn't mind being a mermaid because I had been used to it. This time I was in this form way longer than needed. Something's up. I had to alert my sisters. BAND MEETING! I spoke up [convo to follow, it's gonna be heated. Profanity may be coming later]

Amy (Me) :OK girls, what do we do?

Lisa:I don't know much about this.

Lauren:Sorry, I don't either.

Katherine:I'm not sure, but there must be something going on.

Christina:What could it be?

Dani:I think I have an idea. What if Dr. Skull has so many lackeys?

Amy:What?

Dani:You know, like minions or lesser evil forces. I saw in a movie once that there was this evil villain who had like 47 lackeys that basically had the same skills as the villain had. They were no match for the heroes who destroyed them, but the lackeys can be fearsome. I think Dr. Skull might have a lot of lackeys scattered all over.

Amy:Since when did you get this smart?!

Dani:Remember when I told you I was studying all night the other day?

Amy:Yeah.

Dani:I did some research on Dr. Skull by looking up his records. Apparently from what I found, he has many forms. He has this natural ability of fast recovery.

Amy:FAST RECOVERY!?

Dani:Yeah, that's what it said. In my hand is the printed copy of his records. It says, 'Dr. Lorenzo Octavius Skull was born in Romania and moved to California at 15. He began his love for science at 16. At 48 he is constantly working on new experiments and creations, he has looked for a way to combine DNAs of humans and animals or various other things and wants to make it a permanent fusion. He is still doing research on this as we speak as it is not an exact science. During his research, he gained fast recovery as an innate skill. He recovers quicker than anyone.' That's what it says.

Amy:Are you serious?! We have to fight someone who is a quick healer? HOW ARE WE GONNA STOP HIM!?

Lisa:Not us, you. You're really the only one who can go toe to toe with him. Or in this case, fin to toe. But we're your sisters, we got your back.

Amy:I hope that I can stop him. Anyway, I need to mention this. I will always be a Cimorelli no matter what happens. Somehow this morning I woke up to my name tag saying Amy Syren which is not me. Then I heard Mermaid Ice. Now here I am all in blue.

Lauren:Get away from anything hot. That's all I can say.

Amy:Why?

Lauren:You are aware that fire melts ice right? PLEASE TELL ME YOU KNOW THIS!?

Amy:This isn't any ordinary 'Ice' though. I'm looking at the info it says for Mermaid Ice and this is fireproof and lightproof. Uh, what?

Lauren:WTF? Ice that is fireproof and lightproof? Makes no sense!

Dani:I've looked into this. Apparently there is a very rare case where ice resists fire. How rare? Apparently 1 in 2530522532525383582 or something like that.

Amy:SERIOUSLY!?

Katherine:Then what do we do now?

Christina:Amy must kill him.

Lisa:But he has only shown like what, only a small sample size?!

Dani:Yeah, but I know his weakness.

Amy:TELL US!

Dani:The only way to finish him off for good, is Amy must unlock the ultimate power within her.

Christina:Simple enough, right?

Katherine:Uh, no.

Lisa:Yeah right Chrissy.

Amy:Like I'm strong enough to beat Dr. Skull?

Lauren:He's died 3 times essentially, but he seems to be like a cat.

Dani:Well, we have the purrfect plan for him.

All:LMAO!

Amy:Dani with her weird humor.

Lisa:We got this...well, you got this Amy.

Amy:Wait, I forgot to mention...my dark secret.

All:Oh?

Amy:For years I've tried to shed this darkness in my heart. It's not going away. I'm crying all night thinking about this.

All:We're here for you. You're worth it Amy.

Amy:Thank you. Now let's return me to normal.

*time passes*

It's gotten to the point where we were now racing against the clock to get me back to what I was. Are we gonna be slowed down? NO!

Day 373:12/22/13

Now we had to really dig deep. The only chance we have of saving me is defeating Skull once and for all. As we were making our way into Skull's house, we noticed it got changed again. I went in with Dani & Lauren.

And then....

A RANDOM POOL I JUST WALKED IN...OR DOVE IN. But as I went in the water, I noticed I was being dragged down. A powerful chain grabbed my body and sunk me in deeper. OMG!!!!!!

Dani & Lauren's POV:

AMY!

We have to save her again! But how?

Dani's POV:

AMY! ME AND LAUREN ARE GONNA GET YOU BACK!

Lauren's POV:

It's time to retrieve her. Let's go Spice!

Amy's POV:

I woke up and noticed I was sitting on a throne. Um, OK. But I noticed I was stuck. And then it started to smell bad.

THE WATER WAS POISONED!

OMG! SAVE ME CIMORELLI!
