Well guys, this is it. The final part. I'm tearing up so much. I've been crying all night because I'm about to close my story today. I'm heartbroken, crushed, devastated, and feeling defeated.
BUT!
I have a job to do. Let's just go.
Day 1610:5/11/17 *Nashville, final Cimorelli show*
So we started our show at 10 AM and we went on till 2 AM. We did a massive 16-hour show that pretty much would take us our entire day. But we had to do this, this was our final show. After this day is over, the band is no more. We did every single song we have ever done before, and covered some songs we've never ever done in our lives. To start, we did a cover of Scorpions - Wind Of Change. Then we got to Problem, Give Your Heart A Break, Lips Are Movin, Counting Stars and Happy. We spent the first 2 hours doing nothing but covers. Then once Noon hit, we started to do our originals and obviously we led off with Made In America. We took a break at 12:05 PM to go eat and we played the Made In America video for our fans. We also did a montage as well of our funniest moments. At 12:30 PM we got back to performing and did The Last Time next. We did nothing but our originals until 3 PM. We took another pause to do Summer With Cimorelli show on the video screen as we got everyone some snacks. Everyone loved our show we did in 2014 and it went a half hour :) After that we did some collaborations. We called up Joanna Beasley to join us for her songs Energy, This Is My World, Wishing Well, This Same Love and Rooftops medley. Kelsea Ballerini would join us to do Love Me Like You Mean It, Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift and Keith Urban would come together with us for Highway Don't Care. This was so cool to be a part of this. It then became 4 PM.
Amy's POV:I saw Sam Hunt in the crowd and asked him to come up to stage. He was taking a break from tour so he came up and did Take Your Time and Breakup In A Small Town with me.
Lauren's POV:I saw Lana Del Rey and wanted to sing Born To Die with her. She was excited to do this, so we sang it and also sang West Coast. I of course sang Let's Go Get Fries and Lana giggled.
Katherine's POV:Matthew West came to join me as we did The Motions and Hello My Name Is. This is the kind of music I can feel good about. It's no The Oh Hellos, but this will do. I love The Oh Hellos.
Dani's POV:I was stunned to see Luke Bryan in the crowd. What on earth was bae doing here? I invited him to join me and we sang Crash My Party and I Don't Want This Night To End. Out of nowhere, Zayn Malik surprised us by popping on the videoscreen. I fangirled, obviously.
Lisa's POV:I brought some of my good friends from the Nashville water park I met a few weeks ago to this show. They joined me on stage for a mini set. I would sing Best Day Of My Life and Everywhere. This is so awesome.
Christina's POV:I saw Shania Twain over there by the holding room as she was taking care of production, and I asked her if she could join me on stage. I invited my husband Nick Reali on stage too. I first did Man, I Feel Like A Woman with Shania and then I got my guitar I finally was able to master, and sang to my hubby Nick. I sang You're Still The One as Shania sang along with me. This was a beautiful moment. I love you Nick.
Amy:Once 5 PM hit, we got to our Hearts On Fire acoustic mixtape set. Dani, Amy and Kath went on guitar and bass, Lauren went on keyboard/piano, I went on acoustic guitar and Lisa was on cajon/dobro/drums. If you still don't have this mixtape, get it on Noisetrade. We took another pause and played a few montages from our tours. At 6 PM we then did our Renegade EP set. For our Renegade song, we did something we had never done before. This would be a huge spectacle as they would put us in these boxes that we had to break through from, ala our video. Dani and Lauren spit their fire with their raps, I threw in a rap verse of my own. I was never this intense. This was so much fun.
