Chapter 27:Amy's Mermaid Dream + Amy's Farewell

Day 1297:7/2/16

This was amazing. So yesterday I became a mermaid performer by the name of Mermaid Ice and being at the water park doing my mermaid thing was amazing. I never really believed in mermaids until just a couple years ago. When I turned into a mermaid that one time while dealing with Dr. Skull, part of me thought that this was my calling. That I needed to go into mermaiding. At the same time, I still had that dark side of me. Now that I have purged the darkness from my heart, I am now free as a bird. I still wear dark clothing but everyone understands that I am now free to be me. I have no more darkness inside of me. So now that everything is all settled, I can do whatever I wish. So I called up my brother Michael and I asked if there was a Nashville meet-up. He said yes and I went. I brought my tail and guitar again and got to it. So last night I had this amazing dream that I sang Made In America in concert, with my mermaid tail on. I was playing to a sold out crowd of 65,000. Wait, a sold out crowd? I woke up a few songs in to my set and it hit me, what if this was real? So that really changed my perspective on life. I had to tell my family.

Amy:*to family* Everyone, I have a major announcement. I'm temporarily leaving the band to pursue a solo career. I want to see how I can handle this.

Everyone was stunned that I made this choice. But I had to do it. It was needed.

Day 1451:12/3/16

HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY CHRISTINA, 18TH BIRTHDAY LAUREN AND 23RD BIRTHDAY LISA!

I wrote birthday songs for my sisters and on September 20th I bought my own house. YAS! After that I got a call, it was from Scott Borchetta. He was looking to sign some new talent and wanted to see if he could talk to me. So I listened.

*hours later*

OMG! DID THAT JUST REALLY HAPPEN?! SCOTT BORCHETTA SIGNED ME TO BIG MACHINE? BUT I...HOW?! Now I had a decision, do I tell my sisters? Or make it a surprise?

*calls Christina*

Christina:Hey Amy.

Amy:Hey, just wanted to say hi :)

Christina:Cool. What's up?

Amy:Well, I been thinking about my mermaid future. I want to keep at it as a side job not just for some months.

Christina:Cool. I'm happy for you. Well, keep at it :)

Amy:I will :)

I did not tell Christina about Big Machine records. I overheard a chat with Dani and Scott.

Scott:So Dani, you want to go to our label?

Dani:YEET! Where do I sign up?

Scott:You're signed.

Dani:OMG! I'll tell my sisters this news.

Dani's POV:So me and my sisters just got signed. If only we could tell Amy our news.

Amy's POV:I was so excited I had to tell my sisters what happened about this. I didn't tell Christina first about the Big Machine signing.

*that night*

It was now apparent that my solo career was gonna take off. But, I was hesitant. Then I got a newspaper that had some shocking news. CMT was gonna be doing a show at Cimorelli's household. OMG WHAT?! THIS I HAD TO BE A PART OF! But, how would they react to me as a mermaid? Uh,
