"Stop stop please stop!" I screamed while Rj continued to beat on me. I wish knew what I do that is so wrong for him to get so angry and lay his hands on me .
Hours later
Rj finally left I decided to call my best friend Kate , I never told her about what Rj has been doing to me because I know she would freak.
Kate: Hey Lisa , what's up?
Lisa(me): Hey Kate , nothing really but hey I was wondering if I could stay the night at your house so we could idk maybe have a girls night?
Kate: Sure, I'll pick you up in 20 ?
Lisa: Yeah that's great.
I started packing my things I did not want Rj to come back while I was still her seeing me pack, only God knows how he would react.
Kate's Pov
After being on the phone with Lisa I already knew something was up. Altough I don't really like being all up in other business, I'm worried about Lisa she's my best friend and if something is going on I need her to tell me so I can help her.
20 minutes later
I arrived at Lisa's house. (honk honk) , let's go girl I'm ready to turn up ! As I'm sitting watching Lisa approach the car , I see that she has this miserable expression. Seems as if she's hurting and wants to ask for him but she's afraid.
Kate: Hey Lisa, are you alright honey you look like something is really bothering you . Lisa doesn't answer
Kate: you know I'm always here for you , no judging. I really hope Lisa is okay , at this point I'm really worried about Lisa. I then decided to take her out for a bite. I pulled up at IHOP her favorite.
Lisa: Kate what are we doing here ?
Kate: girl get out this damn car always asking questions who care why we're here let's just eat. Lisa smiled a little. We sat down at a table , as we were sitting some dude just kept on staring.
