Ezra sat down in a small, empty room on the command ship with an impressive view of space and the stars. He sat on a chair, tucked his knees up to his chin, and started to think.
He liked his life with the rebels. He truly did. He only wished he knew the fate of his parents....
Ezra remembered a song he had learned during his childhood, before his parents were taken away. He began to sing softly.

He stopped. He hadn't realized... He actually had a decent voice.
He began to sing again, this time trying a different song. This was one his mother had taught him.

He smiled. He actually sounded.... Well, not terrible. Even though that last song had been a girl song, he had still sounded alright. But he decided not to tell anyone about his talent. Zeb would probably kill himself laughing, and Kanan might think he was silly for enjoying singing. He decided that it was nice anyway, to have something all to himself.
He stared out at the stars again, then began to sing "People Like Us" again. But this time, he knew what the song was about: Him, and his new family.
