Chapter 22- Santana's POV
Lauren slams my locker shut before I can. Her features are dark and angry. I smile though. "Why thank you Lauren. You know, I could not have slammed my locker shut myself. You saved my life there. Thanks." I grin. She doesn't. "What? Wasn't that funny? Gee, who pissed in your Cheerios?"
"You and Griffin?" she asks raising an eyebrow.
Of course. I sigh and re open my locker pretending to search for something, just to avoid eye contact. I don't answer, not because I'm ashamed of Lillian and I, but because I'm not even sure if there is an 'us'. I'm not too considered about it though. Right now, I just want to comfort her the best I can. We can talk about relationship statuses later.
"Wow Santana. That is so...." she scowls. I eye her.
"So what Lauren??" I growl, she makes a face. "So fantastic?? So incredible? So what Lauren?"
"So disgusting." she finishes with a breath. I roll my eyes and close my locker. She follows behind me. "Why Griffin? She so weird."
"What do you have against her? I saw what you did. If anyone's fucked up its you! Who does something like that Lauren?" she grins like she's proud but then wipes it away and returns to her frown.
"Why would you be with someone like Lillian? I mean she doesn't even have anything special to her. She's just plain..." she sticks out her tongue in disgust.
I laugh smugly. Plain wasn't the word I'd use to describe Lillian. She had so many different layers. She could be sweet and playful or wild and violent, mostly she was quiet and shy, but I like it. I love it, all the different phases of Lillian Griffin. You don't actually know which one you were going to get. It kept me on my toes excited to explore with her. Whereas with Lauren you knew exactly what you were getting. Maybe Alex would have liked that, but not Santana.
"Why do you care?" I ask starting to get irritated.
She pouts walks a head of me. "What about me? Why Griffin?" she says her name like its foul, like it's the plague or something and buy speaking it she would some how catch it. "Is weird what gets you hot?" I laugh.
"Maybe... What do you mean what about you?" I tried my best not to describe lillian and I to her. Truth be told there wasn't much to discuss. Lillian is Lillian. I am Santana. We aren't a thing yet. What would there be to discuss?
She pauses and spins around to face me stopping me in my tracks. "You promised to take me to new York? You aren't falling back on that are you? I mean I was your friend before Griffin. It would be a bitch thing to do to ditch me for her."
I breathe. I hate going back on promises, but what am I suppose to do? How would Lillian feel if I did by some weird fate take Lauren to a place like NY? If we do happen to have a 'thing' wouldn't that be borderline cheating there? Besides, Lauren is a bitch. A really really doe eye bitch. I run my fingers threw my hair, and shake my head. She squeals.
"Good. It would suck not getting to go."
"I'll take you. Just as long as Lillian comes with us. No lillian. No deal." I state and Queue smile drop.
"ugh." the bell rings before she can get a word out. She follows me into class and sits next to me even though it isn't her seat.
"Good morning class." the teacher starts. I open my note book prepared to focus only to have it drag away from me.
I glare at Lauren.
'What do her lips taste like?' she scribbles and puts the book in-between us. I bite back a cuss word. She cannot be serious. She nudges me to write. Holy Mary, she's serious.
'Why?' I write back. She smiles,
'Cuz I bet mine tastes better.' her handwriting is neater than mine and she adds a small little wink face. I have stop myself from laughing.
Keep dreaming Lauren.
'I hate seeing you with her!' she scribbles under neath. 'you don't belong with her!'
I shake my head and roll my eyes. 'then who do I belong with.'
She pauses like she's thinking about it the writes her answer. 'Anyone but her.'
I snatch my notebook back. "No thank you Lauren." I whisper. She shrugs her shoulders and slumps into her seat.

Class ends quickly and I'm followed out by Lauren. Apart of me wonders if she'll leave me alone at all today.
"I'm serious David, drop whatever you have with Griffin." I laugh at her determination.
"why so I can be with you?" she ducks her head down and grins.
"No, so Griffin will be free. What do you think Sherlock?" her tone is sarcastic, but her eyes are serious.
I frown. Did she seriously expect me to drop Lillian for her? Especially when Lillian needs my comfort. She is seriously fucked in brain, isn't she.
"fuck off Lauren." I say. She pouts and turns on her heels.
"Fine, stay with freaky Lilly. See how much I care!" she calls over her shoulder.
I stick my middle finger up to her praying she'd turn around and see. She didn't.
