I Love You

Chapter 15

Alex found himself in a dark, windy, cold and rainy place. He was soaked, from head to toe, with no idea of how he got there, he looked all around for Angelie, who had been next to him a few minutes before entering this place.

Alex: Baby, Angelie!!!!
Alex: Where are you, speak to me baby!

Suddenly, everything went silent, the rain stopped, the winds eased, the darkness was lifted and the room could finally be made out. A park. The clouds above where dark, heavy downpours were expected, but there was no wind or rain. A light shone in the distance, far from Alex's position, he made his way towards the light, making out shapes of people in the center, one in front of the other. He stopped dead in his tracks, as he noticed the person on the right was non other than Angelie standing in front of this tall blonde guy with blue colored eyes and braces.

Alex: Angelie?
Alex: What are you doing?
Angelie: I'm done Alex, I no longer love you.
Alex: What?!
Stranger: Beat it kid, get lost!
Angelie: Alex.
Angelie: He's my new boyfriend.

(She has him lean forward and kiss her.)

Alex: You... y-you...
Stranger: I said Get Lost!

The stranger kicked Alex, sending him flying and landing hard on his back. barely able to stand, he caught a quick glimpse of Angelie, he looked at her eyes and noticed, she was crying. He was then picked up by the stranger.

Stranger: Say goodnight, asshole.

(He punched him in the face.)

(Alex woke up.)

He was laying on the couch, Angelie in his arms and he was completely fine.

Alex: " I-it was just a dream?
Alex: " What the hell was all that about?"
Alex: " What's it mean?"
Alex: " Maybe, this person will show up and try to take Angelie."
Alex: " Maybe I'm just over thinking this too much, I shouldn't think that she'd go with someone else for no reason, I had to have done something to make her change that way."
Alex: " Stop!"
Alex: " I'm thinking too much about this, just stop, there's nothing i can do at this moment to have that happen, it's all in my mind."

(Alex kissed Angelie's forehead, waking her up in the process.)

Angelie: Good morning babe.
Alex: Good morning.
Angelie: Wanna go grab something to eat?
Alex: Yeah, come on.

The two rose up and headed to the kitchen, where Alex made pancakes for both and for the first time in their time together, they talked about everything they have wanted to talk about, life together, kids and places to live in. The whole day slipped by them, just like that. Soon after, all the other days started passing with ease, two weeks passed. One morning, while getting up he noticed Angelie seemed to be in a rush, he looked at the TV and saw a sticky note, it said: "Don't head out too late, you don't want to make a bad impression on you first day of school."

Alex snapped, he'd forgotten completely about school starting. He got up and started getting dressed. Angelie came into the living room with her toothbrush still in her mouth.

Angelie: Whereuh yuh goun?
Alex: Take the toothbrush out and then speak please.

(She runs to the bathroom, spits and walks out again.)

Angelie: Where are you going?
Alex: To school.
Angelie: Like hell you are!
Angelie: Get back on the couch a sleep!
Alex *mocking her* Like hell I will!
Angelie: It's too early for this Alex, I'm already late.
Alex: Baby, I'm not missing school just because you don't think my ark is good enough, I'm going, End of discussion!
Angelie: Sigh, OK OK, get dressed.

She headed upstairs to finish getting her stuff, then ran back down as fast as she could, to find Alex all dressed.

Alex: Missing anything?
Angelie: Shoes, give me a sec.
Alex: Hurry, the bus is gonna be here soon.
Angelie: We don't take a bus idiot.
Alex: Wait, you walk to school!
Angelie: Ummm yeah, didn't you know?
Alex: You never told me.
Angelie: Well, its not too far a walk, but it is a walk.
Alex: I'm bringing my board.
Angelie: You won't be able to use it.
Alex: I don't skate with my ARM you know.
Angelie: Whatever, come on, let's go!
