Stella had to make stops through many places, making sure in every place, that she wasn't be persecuted. After a few weeks, very late at night, wheels spun rapidly down a one way road leaving dust raised wherever she drove. She focused completely on the road, pushing her worn down car to its limit as she only thought of reuniting with her son. There was no other car on that road, it seemed like a ghost road. The car gave its occasional bounce, reminding her the road was not an eased one. She drove as fast as she could, only with a small amount of caution. At Angelie's home, it was still three o'clock in the morning, but Alex was awake. He walked around the garage, going through his thoughts, there seemed to be something bothering him, something he didn't even recognize what was happening. Could it be the dream he had almost a month back, maybe the memory of his broken friendship or just the though of never seeing his mother again, maybe these things combined made his night impossible. He suddenly heard footsteps.

Alex: "She's awake."

Angelie walked through her dark hallway, bumping into everything. Alex slowly opened the door and grabbed her, quickly pulling her inside the garage.

Angelie: Alex what the h-

(Alex kisses her in the dark.)

Alex: I'm real sorry babe.
Alex: I couldn't sleep and I didn't want to wake you up, so I came here.
Angelie: What's wrong baby?
Alex: I honestly don't know, I just can't seem to fall asleep.
Angelie: What are you thinking about?
Alex: Lots of things, mainly mom.
Angelie: It can't be good, right?
Alex: I just get the idea....
Alex: She's stopped caring about me.
Angelie: Baby, I get that you miss her, but you can't just think she's gone because of you, she's got something to fix and once she's done, she'll come back for you once she feels her job is done.
Alex: I don't get how a job can be more important than her own son.
Alex: I mean, I was shot for Pete's sake, she didn't even call!
Angelie: Baby...
Alex: On the day dad died, she told me she'd never leave me to face anything alone, well I faced getting shot without her and now I'm facing the loss of my mother, where the hell is she, huh?
Angelie: You didn't face getting shot alone-
Alex: I didn't say that.
Alex: I said "faced getting shot WITHOUT HER."
Angelie: Would you listen?!

(Alex kept his silence.)

Angelie: You didn't face that alone, you had us, and to my father and mother, you're like the son they wished they had, I know cause I heard them say it themselves.
Angelie: You're not facing the "loss" of your mother alone either, which by the way, doesn't count like a loss, she's not dead, she's just away, you have to understand that.
Angelie: I know not having her there must've hurt baby, I can't say I know the feeling because I've never been in your situation, but believe me when I tell you, you're less than alone. We're all here for you baby, I swear.
Alex: Babe...
Alex: Thank you...

(He hugged her tightly.)

Angelie: Come on, let's go to sleep.
Alex: Yeah...OK.

They headed out of the garage and into the living room, where they slept in the couch. In the staircase was Richard, who was able to hear everything, due to the fact they were shouting. Hours passed and Richard woke Angelie.

Richard: Get dressed, I'm taking you.
Angelie: What about Alex?
Richard: Your mother's taking him later, come on.
Angelie: I'm going, I'm going.

Angelie got ready in lightning speed due to her father's rushing. She sat in the front, wondering why her father would be taking her so early.

Angelie: Dad, where are we really going?
Richard: I have to talk to you, but first, let's get some breakfast.
Angelie: Where we eating?
Richard: There's a Café about twenty minutes away from here, wanna go eat there?
Angelie: Yeah, sure.
