Roy POV
I wrapped up Riza's arms again, my fingers carefully tying up the gauze again, as we waited for the right moment to head inside the school.
Me: How did you even avoid your parents?
Riza: I couldn't.
I looked up at her and gasped, finally noticing the red marks running around her neck, hair pulled back into a ponytail.
Me: Oh my...
Riza: I was able to get away and finally have them arrested for everything they did to Phoenix.
Me: You didn't tell them about any harm they do to you?
She nodded and I cut the remainder of the gauze off, her hands falling into my lap. Putting my hands on top of hers, I ran my fingers up and down the scars, sighing in relief.
Riza: What's wrong?
I looked up at her and her mouth closed, our eyes staring into each other. She moved closer and our foreheads pressed close together, my hands running up her arms.
Me: (Whispering) You're alive and that's all that matters.
Her eyes closed and sighed, both of us letting out deep breaths. I leaned forward, pressing my lips against hers, my hands on her cheeks. She smiled and responded, our lips connecting softly, her hands on my chest. I angled my head and she opened her mouth, granting me entrance inside, our tongues overlapping each other. Pulling away for air, her fingers ran through my hair, pushing it back and revealing my eyes.
Riza: I love you.
Me: I know.
She smiled as Nate walked up, readjusting his jacket and pulling up his pants, both of us looking over. I grinned slightly when I saw the bite mark on his neck, Riza giggling quietly.
Nate: What's going on?
Me: Nothing. We ready?
He nodded and we stood up, following him to the front of the school, Morgan wearing his jacket over her tank top, hair tied into a messy ponytail. Riza walked over and sat down next to her, Nate glancing up at the school's entrance.
Nate: Mark said he would go inside and see what was going on. He texted me a few minutes ago and said people were in the auditorium, watching the choir kids perform.
Me: What? That's what going on right now?
Morgan: Yeah, but he was able to sneak in and start watching the crowds and stage, ready to react if anything happens.
Nate: Darren was pissed at him, but he was still able to get in, barely.
Riza: Barely? What do you mean?
He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, staring up at the school, the lights now pitch black, movement coming from the left hand side.
Nate: Nicole tried to get him in trouble and lied, saying he was arrested, but Mark was able to bypass it, Darren able to let him go backstage for the last three hours.
Morgan: Shouldn't you be there then?
Nate: Nope. Told the teacher that I had family matters to deal with and he let me off until tomorrow night.
I sighed and looked towards the auditorium, catching the shadow making their way towards the back entrance, my eyes widening.
Me: (Whispering) Guys. Follow me.
Everyone stared at me as I walked silently towards the back entrance, pressing my body to the wall, Riza right behind me.
Riza: (Whispering) What's up?
