Today was my first day back at Beacon Hills High School. Being back was weird. When you're missing two years in the lifes of your friends they move on. Gladly I still had Lydia, she's my cousin after all, she can't get rid of me so easily. I was happy to see my old friends again as well but it's probably going to be awkward. It's no secret that friendships rarely last when someone moves away. You keep in touch for the first couple of months but then it subsides until you don't talk at all. If you're lucky you get a 'How's it going?' at random times but those conversation don't last long. I managed to keep in touch with my friend Danny though, we have known each other for the most of our lives and he plays a big role in mine. We were never really best friends or anything but we were quite close. And he was the only one who made an actual effort to stay in touch with me.I was waiting for Lydia to pick me up, she insisted. While I was puttin on my boots I heard her driving up my driveway. I stood up to open the door for her and as soon as I did I was engulfed in a hug.
"Good morning little cousin!" Lydia shouted in my ear and I laughed, I had missed her loud voice.
"Morning Lydia. I'm almost ready I'll just quickly grab my bag." She nodded checked herself in the mirror we had hanging in the hallway. I went into the kitchen to grab my bag and said goodbye to my mom. She was super happy when I told her I'd be coming home. Things in Salt Lake City got a bit stressful and I have a habit of running away from my problems. But I missed my mom so who can blame me?
"Bye Mom, I'm off to school with Lyds."
"Bye honey, and good luck for your first day." She held her two thumbs up and I had to laugh I kissed her on the cheek and went back to Lydia who was still standing infront of the mirror.
"C'mon Lydia, we have to go you can check yourself out later." I chuckled and left the house with a complaining Lydia behind me.

We parked in Lydias usual spot. She's been using this exact parking spot since freshman year, it was the one closest to the school and the spot next to it used to belong to Jackson Whittemore Lydia's ex, but he moved away last year so someone else claimed it as theirs. Thanks to Lydia I was up-to-date with everything important happening in Beacon Hills.
"I'll quickly go to the secretary and get my schedule and locker info alright?" I asked turning around to Lydia but she was already engrossed in a conversation with some lacrosse players. Surprise. I just shrugged my shoulders and made my way to the office. The secretary handed me two pieces of paper, one being my schedule and the other one being my locker number and combination.
"Welcome back in Beacon Hills." she smiled as I thanked her and left the office trying to find my locker. 485 okay let's do this. I still knew my way around here and I quickly found the wall of lockers starting with four. 461... 475... 483... there it was 485. I dialed in the combination and after my third try I actually managed to open the locker. While I was emptying the contents of my bag I heard the locker to my right being opened but I didn't pay any attention to it. I checked my schedule for the first few classes I had so I could pick up the books that I needed when someone next to me started speaking.
"Hello there gorgeous." was he talking to me?
"Good morning to you, too." nope he wasn't. A girl had answered him, most likely the one that had the locker next to me. But I clearly wasn't ready for the next thing I heard. They were sucking their faces off! And I was getting annoyed. I bend around the door of my locker clearing my throat.
"Excuse me but could you please stop the PDA at least when I'm around? It would be greatly appreciated." My words had effect on the two love birds and they reluctantly stopped kissing if you could still call it that. It surely sounded like more than that. When they both turned around to look at me my blood ran cold. Next to the incredibly pretty girl stood none other than Stiles Stilinski. I expected to see him again, but not so soon. And not like this. I saw some kind of emotion flash through his eyes before his stare went back to being as cold and hard as I remembered it.
