I woke up to my phone being blown up with messages. I grumbled and searched for my phone with closed eyes when I found it, I reluctantly opened my eyes the light from the screen hurting my eyes.

Lydia:

Where are you? I thought you'd sleep over?

Lydia:

Seriously, I'm getting worried.

Lydia:

Text me back immediately!!

Lydia:

Please Claire I'm being serious! Someone could've kidnapped you!

Lydia:

CLAIRE!!

I quickly sent back a text saying I'm at home and okay before turning off my phone and tried going back to sleep. It was 3 am and I wasn't really in the mood for Lydia's interrogation. But now that I was awake I couldn't fall asleep. Great. Thanks for that Lydia. I grabbed my book from the nightstand and started reading.

I read until I eventually fell asleep again. At around ten I got up to make myself some breakfast. I met my mom in the kitchen and she looked at me confused.

"I thought you'd be sleeping over at Lydia's?" she asked me while pulling a second plate from the cabinet.

"Yeah, I wanted to but then I didn't feel well so I went home."

"All by yourself? You know it's not safe Claire. You could've been kidnapped, or worse." My mom scolded me sternly looking at me. Funny she used almost the same words as Lydia.

"I got a ride from someone from school don't worry. I'm fine."

"Call me next time. I'd rather pick you up than having you ride home with strangers."

"Mom. Don't worry. Next time I'll just stay at Lydia's." I really wasn't in the mood for an argument right now.

We ate our breakfast in silence. That gave me the chance to think about yesterdays events. Did I really make out with that guy from the lacrosse team? That was so stupid of me. I'm usually not like that. And Stiles behaviour ticked me off. He's annoying the crap out of me. Can't he just mind his own business? Seriously. Maybe he'll leave me alone now that he's back together with Malia.

"You need to help me clean this mess up." I was currently in Lydia's living room and she was forcing me to help her clean up.

"Why? I wasn't even here for the majority of the party." I whined but started helping anyways.

"Exactly. You just left without a word. I thought something happened to you! But I heard you had something going on with Ryan? Oh and your fight with Stiles? What was that all about?" she raised her eyebrows at me. I grimaced at the memory.

"Yes I had something going on with Ryan... until Stiles interrupted us and I'd rather not talk about the fight." Lydia's eyes went wide.

"He didn't! What did he say?" And here you have Lydia completely in her element.

"Exactly the same I told him monday morning when I interrupted him and Malia. But he was drunk so I don't know. He said he wanted to 'give me a taste of my own medicine'"

I continued to tell Lydia about the evening while cleaning up the mess the student body of Beacon Hills High School had left.

The rest of the weekend wasn't really eventful and I was thankful for it. On monday morning I made my way to my locker and was greeted with Stiles and Malia. Surprise. But they were fighting again. They should really work on that problem of theirs. I opened my locker, trying not to draw too much attention to myself so that I wouldn't have to be confronted by Stiles again. This morning I made the plan to avoid him. When he left in a huff I closed my locker.
