The week after the party was awkward to say the least. I didn't tell anyone about what happened with Stiles, not even Lydia. I was trying not to make a big deal out of it. Stiles was drunk and he didn't mean what he said. We haven't talked either. It's not like I'm avoiding him on purpose, but at lunch we always sit on different ends of the table. If we are standing in a circle with all our friends I don't deign to look at him, afraid he'd look at me. But we weren't fighting anymore, so that was good. It was friday again and Lydia, Kira and I decided we'd have a girls night in. We were currently at the video store looking for 'The Notebook' Lydia's favourite movie of all times. We'd both be bawling our eyes tonight. I'm not sure if Kira is one to cry at movies, but I'll find out I guess.

"So if we're going for movies that'll make us cry why don't we get 'If I Stay' as well? I cried so much when I watched it in the theater, like I had to literally hold in my sobs because they would've been disturbingly loud." I said and both of the girls agreed. "Oh and 'Remember Me' have you guys seen it? It doesn't hit you till the end but then..It's so sad." I was an expert on sad movies. Sometimes you simply need a good cry.

"No I haven't seen it yet but you're making me anxious." Kira replied while looking through the shelves.

"I haven't seen it either but I'm always in for a new movie." Lydia smiled and picked up 'Remember Me'.

A couple hours later and we were all sitting in my room, our eyes puffy from crying. Turns out Kira is one to cry during movies. Lydia wiped her nose one last time before turning towards us.

"Enough of the crying now. Let's talk about boys." Lydia now had a smirk on her face. I groaned, this was not what I wanted to talk about at all. But of course Lydia would bring it up. "How are you and Scott doing?" She asked Kira. Kira didn't even have to answer the question, her beaming smile was answer enough. But she answered anyways.

"We are doing amazing." I was happy for the pair. You could see that they loved each other from just looking at them. It was adorable. "What about you Claire? Any one confessed their love for you already?" Oh no.

"No?" I forced a laugh. I was terrible at lying, especially when it's about something I've been thinking about 24/7.

"Was that a question or a statement?" Kira laughed. They didn't buy it.

"Is there something you haven't told me little cousin?" Lydia perked up from her position on my bed. Shit.

"It's nothing really. He was drunk and said he used to so it doesn't even count...Does anyone want something to eat?" I tried to change the subject but it didn't work.

"Who was it?" Kira was looking at me wide-eyed while Lydia looked at me suspiciously. I just shook my head. I won't tell them. I can't tell them. He's their friend. "C'mon spit it out!"

"No!" I said a bit too harsh. "Sorry Kira, I just don't want to talk about it...it's been complicated and I don't want to mess things up even more so I'm trying to forget about it. He probably didn't even mean it." Kira nodded understandingly and smiled. Thank god I could prevent that. "So...food?"

"What would a girls weekend be without a shopping spree? And that rhymed I am so cool." Lydia had officialy extended our girls night in to a girls weekend so we drove to the mall ready for a day of shopping. I was in the mood for some new clothes so I was happy we were going.

"Lydia, rhyming isn't as cool as you think. And so are you." I laughed at Lydia's pouty face. We started out at Forever21 and made our way through all the shops in the mall. I was just looking through a clothes rack when Kira suddenly screamed. I turned around to see Scott laughing while Kira held her hand to her chest.

"Why did you scare me like that, Scott?" She was laughing while she said that.

"I thought it would be fun." He shrugged his shoulders. I walked up to the both of them, a hanger with a dress I want to try on in my hand.

"Hi, Scott. Trying to interrupt our girls weekend?" I greeted him and he turned his head towards me smiling.

"Sorry, I just couldn't resist. I'm actually here with Stiles. I'm not stalking you guys or anything." He laughed again and my heart skipped a beat at the mentioning of Stiles. Of course he wouldn't be far if Scott's here. And sure enough he showed up behind Scott.

"I've been looking for you Scott, you can't just run away." He scolded Scott and then he looked over at me his eyes widening for a second. My heart started beating faster. This was the first time we had eye contact after the party. I kept on staring at him until Scott started speaking again.

"Sorry, man. I didn't know you'd be searching for me like a little baby." Scott laughed as Stiles shot him a glare.

"Did you have lunch already?" Scott asked us and we shook our head in reply.

"Lydia went a little ham so we hadn't time yet." Kira laughed while I kept on glancing at Stiles. Our eyes met every now and then before we both looked away again. This was so cliché. But I could neither stop looking at him nor did I have the guts to hold the eye contact. I was still confused by what he had said. I didn't know how to act around him and I had the feeling that I was wrong about Stiles. That for all this time I thought he was a douchbag and a jerk when in reality he wasn't. I am still so confused.

"We were just about to go, you guys wanna join?" Scott looked at us quizically and I looked around the store to find Lydia, she was at the other end of the store a mountain of clothes in her arms.

"Let me just quickly get Lydia away from that mountain of clothes real quick." I said and Stiles let out a loud laugh making us all look at him weirdly. Did he just tell a joke to himself?

"Sorry I just remembered something." He said looking at me again. I quickly turned around to avoid the eye contact like I've been doing for the past minutes and made my way towards Lydia.

"C'mon Lyds, we're going to have lunch now, we'll come back for the clothes later okay?" I said when I reached her pulling her away from the clothing rack.

"But.."

"No ifs, no buts, we're going." I ordered and Lydia let out a groan before following me. She'd be grumpy until we're back in the store and she'd be able to buy all of this. I put the dress I was holding onto Lydia's clothes and we joined the others walking to the food court.

"You know that this was supposed to be a girls weekend right?" Lydia asked Scott and Stiles and they just shrugged their shoulders.
