Okay you got this. There's nothing to be nervous about you just walk up to him and ask. If he says no it's okay too, at least you tried.

After two days I had finally decided that I should talk to Stiles. We should at least try to get along. And if I made a fool of myself then I had the weekend to live it down.

"Hey, Stiles, sorry could I talk to you for a second?" He was currently standing at his locker sorting out his stuff for his next classes. He seemed surprised as he saw me. Well, I would've been surprised if he was standing at my locker as well.

"If this is about the other day, don't worry about it." He said shrugging his shoulders.

"No, well yes, kinda, thanks again. But that's not exactly what I wanted to talk about."

"What is it then?"

"I just wanted to ask if we could bury the hatchet...I mean since we're in the same group of friends and we kinda get forced to spent time together it would be nice if we wouldn't be screaming each other all the time..." I was playing with my fingers, my hands were slightly sweaty. Nothing to be nervous about Claire, you're just being mature right now. You can do this. If he doesn't want to, his loss.

"I think we already improved our screaming don't you think? Last time was almost a week ago." Stiles looked at me with a lopsided smile.

"True." I was smiling now, too. This wasn't going as bad as I expected it to be. "So what do you say? We don't need to be the best of friends...I don't think that'd even work." I let out a light chuckle.

"Yeah let's try this." He nodded and I was just about to say something when Isaac walked past us.

"Now kiss." And he was gone again.

"He is so annoying." I said rolling my eyes, this guy couldn't let it go.

"I know right? Don't even get me started on that stupid scarf of his." Stiles replied while looking after Isaac. "Don't we have math together now?" He was now looking at me again and I checked my schedule. I haven't memorized it yet.

"Yeah we do actually."

"Why don't we walk together as our first act as ...whatever we are."

"Yep, off we go. Do you love Mrs.Gordy as much as I do?" I asked while starting to walk towards our math classroom. My first impression on Mrs.Gordy was right, all she did was humiliate everyone who wasn't good at math. And I was one of them.

"If you mean that you hate her with all you've got, then yes."

Maybe our annoyance with Isaac and hatred towards our math teacher could actually bring us closer.

As soon as we reached the classroom I sat down in my usual spot next to Lydia. Her head turned towards me in light speed.

"Why the hell were you walking with Stiles?" She asked me in a hushed whisper.

"We agreed on trying to get along and then we walked to class together because that's what people do that get along?" It was more of a question than a statement.

"So you finally had the guts to talk to him?" I nodded in response and we were so engrossed in our conversation that we didn't notice Mrs.Gordy entering the room.

"Ms. Martin...both of you. Why don't you come up to the blackboard and solve these equations?" Great. Now I had to get myself humiliated infront of the whole class because I sucked at math and Lydia could solve this with closed eyes.

I stood infront of the blackboard doing nothing while Lydia was writing as if her live depended on it. With a swift movement she turned around and went back to her seat. I haven't even started yet and she's already done? I let out a frustrated breath.

"Why don't you sit down, we better get someone else to solve this or else we'll sit here till tomorrow. It's still beyond me how two from the same familiy can be so different."

I just grumbled and sat down. Stupid bitch. Who needs math anyways? I'll never use this after school so why bother?

Finally at lunch I went to our usual table with Kira. She was telling me how her father had embarrassed her in history class again and I told her about Mrs. Gordy. I feel bad for Kira, that her father was teaching here wouldn't have been a problem for Kira but that she's in his class is really annoying her.

"At least your father isn't like Harris. I'm so happy I only have chemistry with him. If I had two classes with him I would've seriously considered dropping out of school." I laughed while sitting down between Lydia and Danny.

"Hey Claire, do you wanna watch the lacrosse practice with me today?" Lydia asked me and I didn't have much of a choice, she was my ride home after all and I didn't have class during the practice.

"Sure." I shrugged my shoulders. I wasn't interested in lacrosse but most of the guys on the team were eye candy so I didn't mind it.

"Lydia could you give me your math notes again? I really don't get it." Malia said while sitting down across from me. Friday was the only day Malia had the same lunch hour as me and I was okay with that to be honest. But we seemed to have more in common than I thought. She wasn't a math genius as well.

"Me neither, but Lydias notes can't help me either because even those are too complicated." I tried to make conversation with her. I was trying to get along with everyone after all.

"Maybe you're just stupid." Malia replied and everyone's heads turned towards her.

"Jeez, thanks." With that I turned to Danny and talked to him, he was much nicer company than Malia.

"Seems like you guys won't become friends any time soon." Danny said laughing lightly.

"No I don't think so. I don't know what she has against me but I'm done trying to get along with her. I mean, I really want to get along with everyone. I talked to Stiles about it and even he is willing to try." Danny looked at me surprised.

"You and Stiles? Trying to get along? No more dirty looks and shouting? I'm not believing this until I see it."

"I have seen it and let me tell you it was weird." Lydia chirped in. "They walked to class together and I was seriously doubting my own eyes, I thought I was dreaming."

"Guys, you're overreacting. I just decided to act mature and he agreed so that's that. We probably won't become friends but at least we're not fighting anymore."

"I'm still not believing this."
