V20) -Damien's POV-

It was late at night by the time I reached Derek's house. I took no time getting out of my car and knocking on their door. A maid answered the door and I quickly went in the house as she said, "Sir, you can't come in the house without permission." I ignored her and started going up stairs to look for Derek. "Derek! Come out here!" I shouted as loud as I could while shoving servants off of my arms. A few bedroom doors open and once I saw Derek in the hallway, I instantly went up to him. "Damien? What are you doing here?" He asked me. "There's no time to explain. I need your help." I told him. This big door opened and I saw Derek's father come out of it looking angry. "What's the meaning of this?!" He shouted angrily as he walked over to us. I bowed deeply as I said, "I'm sorry for entering your house without permission, King Ivan. But I need your help." "Prince Damien. Seeing you here is quite surprising. Stand up now. Lets go in my office, you come too Derek." Ivan told us and I followed him and Derek into his office. I sat down in one of the chairs that was in front of his desk. "You must be mad coming into a house full of werewolves. But you have guts for doing it and you look pretty serious so it must be urgent. I'll hear you out." Ivan told me as he lit a cigar and started smoking it. I explained the whole story to him and he sat there intently listening to my explanation. Once I finished, he sat there for a moment and said, "What does my people get out of doing this though? We don't owe anything to one human girl." "Your son owes something to Rose, though. I saw the scratch marks he left on her when she went to the beach with your son. Also, if this works, I'm going to work towards taking power away from the parliament so by the time Derek and I become Kings, vampires and werewolves can live together peacefully in one nation." I said to Ivan. He looked towards Derek and said, "Is that true, Derek?" Derek just nodded and Ivan sighed. "I'm going to take your word and I'll allow my son and his friends to join this defiance group to get this girl back." Ivan said to me. I thanked him and I grabbed Derek and started going outside with him, where the sun was starting to rise. "Where are we going?" Derek asked me as he got into my car. "To the parliament to make history." I told him as I quickly drove out of there.
