"Hurry up Haley we are going to be late!" My best friend Carly yelled at me from downstairs.
"I'm coming!" I shouted while looking closely at my outfit in the full body mirror. White converse, purple skater skirt, and a white crop top. Couldn't get anymore basic than that.
"I heard that 10 minutes ago! Let's go you don't want to miss your first day as a senior!" I made my way down the stairs to see an unhappy Carly staring at me impatiently.
"Took you long enough." She said in a huff before turning towards the door. "I parked my car outside, I'll meet you there after you say your goodbyes to your mom." She said before turning on her heel and leaving.
"Is she gone?" My mother asked coming out of the kitchen, I nodded. "I never understood why you liked her. Why are you even still friends with her?"
"Mom she saved me, remember?"
"She also caused you pain, remember?" She said in the same tone I had used."You are impossible sometimes." I said giving up on our conversation, it's too hard to argue with a person as stubborn as you.
"Right back at you. Now you better hurry and get to school, you know how impatient Carly gets." I nodded and hugged her tightly before leaving the house.
Senior year here I come.

"Hurry up and throw the birdie, I haven't got all day!" A blond boy shouted at me from the other side of the net. We were in Physical Education and I was talking to some of my friends while playing badminton.
"Just shut up would you?" I said clearly annoyed, he'd been doing this to everyone. He just rolled his eyes awaiting my serve. I served and resumed my conversation with Jennifer. "So then I said to him-OW!" The birdie came straight to my nose making it turn red like Rudolph .
"Aiden!" Jen screeched while studying my face closely. The blond kid just stood there smirking. Jerk. "Haley you need to go to the nurse, your nose is starting to bleed."
I nodded and walked off the court to talk to Coach Johnson, I turned around a few times to see Jennifer yelling at the blond kid named Aiden. I laughed at how red her face was turning as Aiden just stood there smirking. It was funny but frustrating, (I hate when guys smirk I also hate the word but that's the only way to describe what he was doing.)
I turned towards the exit and made my towards the nurses office, the second bell was going to ring soon and I was still in my too big for me athletic clothes.

"What the heck happened?" Carly yelled towards me when I walked into Science.
"Me trying to be athletic happened." I said while taking my seat next to her And readjusting my ice pack.
"Who did this ? I'll beat them up in a blink of an eye!"
"Relax its just a bloody nose, I was in Physical Education when-"
"Seriously? You get hurt way too easily, we just played badminton today. It looks like you got hit by a bus."
"Gee you're sweet, and for your information it was a blond kid named Aiden." I added remembering her other question.
"Aiden Hartford?"
"I think ... You know him?"
"Heard of him, he's loaded but also an A class jerk."
"I can vouch for the second part." I said remembering the Physical Education incident as Carly laughed ."Speak of the devil..." I said my eyes glued to Aiden as he walked into the class his eyes scanning the room for an empty seat.
