"Oh Juliet, my darling-"

Although my body was reacting and the lines were coming out of my mouth, I wasn't there. I was thinking about the kiss, after that I can maybe go back to being sane and actual pay attention.

And then the moment came.

I stared into Aiden's eyes and he smiled back at me.

We kissed.

It was short and sweet because it's a stage kiss and but it felt different.

Like there was a spark but it wasn't forced. The audience clapped and some kids pretended to puke with EWWWS and AWWS filling the crowd.

I stood up looked back into Aiden's eyes and smiled.

The scence continued obvious sparks were flying.

I guess to the audience it was just that we were amazing at acting.

But we both knew better.

When the show  finally ended and Aiden and I were doing our bows. I saw something so genuine in Aiden that I had only seen glimpses of.

I have no idea what I saw, but from that moment forward I would try my best to see it again and again.

By the and of the show, After curtain call and meet and greets Aiden and I went back into the drama room to change.

"That was great!" I said to Aiden while pulling off my false eyelashes.

"Yeah!"

"You are so talented, I'm so sorry for doubting your acting abilities. The crowd believed everything! "

"Who said I was acting? " Aiden asked with a smile on his face before disappearing behind me into the Men's dressing room.

I stood there for a while, wiping off my make up and gathering my stuff before heading to the women's dressing room.

Not like I needed that to add to the true theory that we are both feeling something.

What's wrong with going out on a limb and going out?

There's no harm in that, right?

We can be more careful, last time all those relationships and stuff that were broken were because we were um..prematurely dating.

Yeah this time will be different, for sure.

I mean I hope.

"When do you want me to pick you up?" Aiden asked from the other line.

"Um 1 tomorrow is fine, thank you!" I said.

"Okay cool, don't wear anything you care about tomorrow okay?"
"Um..why?" Then I literally have nothing to wear, who buys clothes to destroy?

"Oh sorry I need to get going, you did great tonight! Bye!"

I huffed in annoyance at the dial tone. Where were we going?

I spent the rest of the night going through my clothes for something I didn't mind getting rid of.

Do you have any idea how hard that is?

It's not like I wear all of my clothes but I can't just get rid of a full outfit.

If I bought some clothes, I obviously like it, even if it is just a  little bit.

I sighed settling for my ripped up jeans and a pullover sweatshirt that I got at the start of my freshman year.

Perfect outfit for a date, not.

I laid the outfit down on my bed while grabbing a pair of run down boots before going down the stairs for a quick snack.

My mom was taking me out today in celebration of the show. We were heading down to Olive Garden where the rest of the cast would also be. It was an unofficial cast party.

After having my snack I headed back up to change.

I decided to wear a simple dress with some sandals and I took off my makeup from the show and settled on putting mascara and lip balm. My face needed to breathe from all of the stage makeup.

I grabbed my purse and hopped into my Mom's car and connected my phone to her car radio, switching to a song I liked before completely blowing up her speakers.

I waited for her to finish locking our house so we could get there. It was already 10 pm and I was starving.

~*~

"Why didn't you come for the cast party?" I asked Aiden over the phone.

"I didn't really feel up to it and I was planning our date tomorrow. "

"Oh, we could have always rescheduled it. It would have been so much more fun if you came."

"How was it?"

"It was a lot of fun, you missed a lot. You know the golden couple?"

"Max Freeman and Madison Cooper?"

"Yup they broke up."

"Um cool?"

"Sometimes I forget that I can't tell you gossip because you don't care. Why are we even dating? "

"Dating? "

"Um...I mean that's what tomorrow is right? A d..date?" I asked nervously.

"Yeah but I didn't realize we were like going out."

"Are we not?" I asked a little higher. I was too tired to be having this talk right now, can't he just understand it slipped?

"I thought you wanted time."

"I did I just...it just slipped forget it."

"Um..okay." Not the witty response I thought I would get.

"Um I need to finish getting ready uh..see you at 1."I said before hanging up.

"But it's only 10-"

Yeah well I don't exactly know what to say in awkward situations like that.
