Built to Fall Apart

I woke up as earlier as I possibly could texting Aiden to come over quickly for our going away party.

He responded something about the fact it was 6:39am and that the sun wasn't even awake yet but I ignored that and told him to hurry.

Reluctantly he showed up at my doorstep at 7:02 holding a box of streamers with an annoyed face.

Carly came over at 10 to help with last minute decorations and Makayla even showed up at 12 for cake before leaving because she had to catch her ride. When the party finally ended and the clean up was finally over everyone took a break.

"Haley?"

"Yeah Carly?"

"I'm going to miss you so much, like you don't even know."

"We are only 45 minutes away from each other."

"45 minutes too far. I wish we could go to school together."

"Me too. But we will talk everyday, and we have to tell each other everything. All the gossip even if we don't know the people in it."

"Of course! " Carly said with a sad laugh.

"You do good now. I'm going to miss you so much."

"You know I'll miss u so much more."

"Nope. Now I'm going to say my goodbyes to the rest of my friends and family. So come give me a hug."

"Gladly." She said hugging me tightly before letting go slightly teary eyed.

"Don't date guys who don't like you and your butt for who they are okay?"

"Haha, okay, you have my word."
"Bye Carly."

"Bye Haley." I walked outside to the front of the house to see some of my other friends.

I exchanged hugs and farewells to each of them. The moment feeling super real.

I was going to college.

"That's the last of it." He said while closing the trunk of the u haul we were renting.

"Thanks so much Hank!" My mom said to Aiden's grandfather before enveloping me into a hug.
"I'm going to miss you so much. Don't forget to call me everyday, maybe twice a day when you're  brushing your teeth, I'll talk you brush. It'll be fun, don't forget me, don't do drugs don't- "

"Mom I'll be fine,I will definitely call you. I love you, I will never be able to forget you. Please breathe."

"I love you too!" She said starting to cry. I hugged her tighter, before everyone came we already had our goodbye's this was just our last one.

"Mom, I love you but I need to go. I'll talk to you soon." With that, I gave her one last squeeze before turing to Aiden who was in my passenger seat talking to his grandfatber through the window, while his grandmother  hugged him.

I walked over to the drivers side saying goodbye to his grandparents and to my Mon before buckling my seatbelt and driving off following the U Haul.

I promised myself I wouldn't cry because I would see them all again.

"I'm going to miss them so much!" Over the summer I really bonded with Aiden's grandparents and Aiden and my Mom are now extremely close.

Although I have no idea what the future will hold or if one day my past will unfortunately unfold.

At least I know that I will always have Aiden the guy I never thought I'd want to see smile or say corny things or even be in the same room with, is the guy I want to spend the rest of my life with. It's funny how things work out.

But I always find it funnier how thing start out. How people change so rapidly, or how some people bring out a different side to you.

I hope I made the right decision.

I turned up the radio and drowned out the sudden depressing mood that found it's place in our car.

"Aiden?"

"Yes Haley?"

"I love you."

"Well Haley, aren't you lucky? Because I love you too."

Maybe we were doomed at the start "built to fall apart" but aren't we lucky because we know we will always fall back together.

Because this loose brick on the castle of life will always need it's cement.

Well this is actually the shortest chapter ever.  Not much to say just wanted it to be short and sweet, I really hope it was! Thank you all for all your support!  Next chapter is EXTREMELY short it's the epilogue!! I don't know when I will post the epilogue, maybe tomorrow.
