Weekends mean 'you have the time of your life, you're alone'.

And I have that kind of feeling right now.

Wala naman akong ibang magawa kundi palutangin ang mga bagay-bagay na nasa loob ng kwarto 'ko. Haaaay. Kabagot, hindi 'ko naman matulungan si Aunt Renee sa pag-aayos ng kusina dahil alam 'ko, papaalisin nya lang ako doon.

Thankfully, naayos namin ang bahay. Nagulo 'ko kasi ito last time, madali lang naming maayos lang lahat eh, multitasking pa.

At ngayon, nakakulong lang ako sa kwarto 'ko. Kaboring, and...

Biglang lumutang sa harapan 'ko ang hiniram 'ko kay Millie na kopya nya ng libro na A Walk to Remember. Oh right, I remembered, I borrowed this. Hindi naman siguro masamang panuorin ko nalang kaysa basahin. I like it that way.

Bumaba ako sa sala at kaagad naman akong nakita ni Aunt Renee, akala nya siguro ay tutulungan 'ko sya sa kusina kaya kaagad nya akong pinahinto pero inangat 'ko ang kamay 'ko na hawak 'yung Blu-ray DVD at itinuro ang sala kung saan naroon ang TV at DVD player namin.

Medyo nagtataka pa syang tumango nang naglakad ako papunta sa player. Kaagad 'ko naman ni-plug in sa outlet ang player at TV. Nang maisalpak 'ko na ang CD ay umupo na ako sa tapat nito at sinimulan na ang panonood.

Sa unang scene, nakakaboring, ba't naman nila pinagtripan 'yung kaibigan nila, or maybe they don't call him "friend". And yeah, Landon's busted by cops, such a typical bad boy and his squad.

I have my chin rested on my palm until I smirked on Jamie's reply on Dean's question, "Well, if there is a higher power then why can't he get you a new sweater?", she answered, "He's too busy looking for your brain."

Nice one there huh.

Natatawa ako sa ilang mga linya nila hanggang nasa scene na kung saan ay sumabay si Landon kay Jamie dahil 'di pa dumadating ang sundo nya. Kumunot ang noo 'ko ng sinabi ni Jamie na, "Forty-two, to befriend somebody I don't like," okay, okay then, why am I even watching this stuff?

I was about to shut the player but I heard a voice ringing in my head telling me to finish it, it won't harm me anyway.

So it goes, I watched it every scene, laugh at lines which I thought funny. It's kind of predictable though, he changes a bit when Jamie starts to ignore him.

And when their play started he actually dropped his jaw when he saw Jamie too beautiful in her baby blue dress and when she started to sing, I can't unriddle his face. He seem strucked by a lightning bolt. And yeah, the kiss, which is unexpected.

At sa part na gumawa sila ng posters na niloloko si Jamie, great, Landon was there too, para bang knight in shining shimmering armor. They dated, they're happy. I can see that. I suddenly got jealous.

I got that feeling of missing something that I shouldn't forget. At least I'm tryin' to be friendly, to Millie specifically. Hindi 'ko nga alam kung bakit bigla 'ko na lang gustong makipag-usap sa iba. I just... did it. At wala namang masama, I guess? People does that every time.

For so long, all I thought was I'm better off alone, like solitude suites me better. Maybe, I was very wrong.

Binaling 'ko ulit ang atensyon 'ko sa pinapanood 'ko.

Landon: Jamie... I love you.

Jamie: ...

Landon: Now would be the time to say something.
