"Now, you are going to be hanging around me today, got it?" I start, sitting down on the tile floor with my back against my locker, "My friends are a little close to bat shit crazy, but you'll live."

He nods, closing his locker door.

"Oh. Assholes. Watch out for Justin and Sean. They are big time assholes. Yeah. Don't get involved with them. They were smoking and drinking last weekend at Sean's house." I mention.

"Okay. Wow. Anything else?" Alex replies, probably not used to something like that.

"Mm..." I skim my brain for anything else that I might need to mention, "No. Just stick with us and we'll be good!"

He nods for what seems like the eighth time in the past ten minutes.

When the bell rings, I notice him jump a bit, the loud noise catching him off guard.

I laugh, "English is right this way!"

I pull him up off the floor and we walk down the hallway.

I can't help but notice some people staring at us from their lockers. Glancing up at Alex I see that he's seeing it too, his face red and eyes staring at the floor.

I put my arm around his shoulder, "Hey, don't worry about them, got it?"

He smiles and we continue our walk down the busy hallways.

By the time lunch hits, I'm just ready to get out of science. I pick up my notebook and walk over to where Alex got placed next to Sean.

"Hey, babe." Sean calls out, placing a sloppy wet kiss on the side of my head.

"You wish." I scoff, "Let's go, Alex."

As I turn to walk away, Sean makes an obnoxious whistle noise, "Damn, babe! Could your jeans be any tighter?" He wraps his arms around me, but not before slapping my ass.

Quickly he is pulled from me, "What makes you think you could say or do that?"

I turn to see Alex holding onto Sean's arm. Sean looks intimidated and Alex just looks pissed.

"I asked why?"

"Alex. Let it go. It's fine." I say, watching as he hesitantly lets go of Sean.

"Fine," He drapes an arm over my shoulders, "Let's leave then."

"What the fuck!" I scream as we leave the classroom, "What the actual fuck!"

Alex looks down at his shoes, "You said he was an asshole, plus no one should be allowed to say or do anything like that. Definitely not to you."

I roll my eyes, "Don't do it again. I'm not helpless. C'mon."
