Monday, September 20.

The weekend ended too quickly. One moment it was Sunday and I was sitting in my bedroom listing to music reading. Next thing I knew it was Monday and I was about to leave to go sit in nine different classroom and walk down several hallways both filled with people I hated.

For some reason, waking up that morning was difficult, which could potentially be called normal but this feeling was different. My stomach felt weird and my mind was racing with thoughts that I couldn't even comprehend.

Of course I ignored it.

Finally around six thirty I am able to force myself out of bed, the thought of skipping gone from my mind.

I look in my mirror, checking my reflection up and down.

It felt weird. My reflection. I knew it was me but couldn't push the thought that it looked different.

I wore a black 'Twenty One Pilots Blurry Face' shirt with torn black skinny jeans. I had my choker on along with another plain necklace with a simple 'S' for Shannon on it.

"Shann?"

I tore my eyes away from my mirror and faced my brother, who was standing in my doorway.

"Y-" I choked on my words, "Yeah?"

He sent me a worried look, "I'm driving you to school today. Mom took your car since hers is in the shop."

I guess my irritated sigh was noticeable because he followed it with, "I'll pick them up. Don't worry."

I nodded and glanced back and my reflection again.

"Something is bothering you."

He was now sitting on the corner of my bed, expression filled with concern and worry.

"Jacob, I'm fine." I sigh, walking over to my bed. I sit down criss-cross, facing him.

"I don't believe it was a question." He glanced over towards my mirror, as if looking for something wrong with it.

"I know. It's alright though, just feel a little sick." I reassure him with a smile, "Thanks though."

He reaches over and hugs me, and I don't refuse.

"Ready to go?"

After picking up Lindsey and Skylar -Megan ditching, Emma in Mexico and Alex, Ryan and Thomas riding together- we arrive at the school.

After jumping out of the car, I sprint up to the front entrance, desperate to find the guys. Skylar and Lindsey are soon by my side, running as well, until we reach the doors.

"We got here late..." Skylar sighs, glancing at her phone.

"We aren't late, just a little off. We have ten minutes." Lindsey corrects her, pulling open the door.

"Yeah," I start, "but late for us. They probably think we ditched them."

They nod and walk into the school.

I make my way towards my locker, which is only a few away from Lindsey's and Skylars. I spot Thomas at his locker, placed next to mine, and let out a sigh of relief.

What has gotten into me today

"Hey." I breathe, suddenly out of breath from running through the hallways.

"Oh hi, you were late? We thought you left us." He replies, closing his locker door.

"Yeah, sorry." I mumble.
