Chapter 1- Typical day

CAITLYN POV

All of a sudden my mom calls me "Caitlyn Raichelle Stephens come get your hair done".

"Coming " I say as I run down the stairs . Every month I get a haircut and I don't look in the mirror very often because my min doesn't want me to be like my brother , so a lot can happen to a persons appearance in a month.

When I meet my mom in her room I sit or her stool as she cuts my hair, she hands me a mirror and I sit it face down in the Palms of my hands .

While my mom is cutting my hair I sneak a peak of my reflection in the mirror without her knowing and I see my dark brown hair cut to my stomach , brown eyes and my yellow skin . Then as she Finished she said " time for school " and I jump up and grab my things .

My mom looks just like me but she's more black than I am and has brown hair with blonde in the back . Just the second i was about to leave I forgot about my brother, Hunter , he looks just like my dad . He has yellow skin just like me hazel eyes (IM SO JEALOUS 😒) and light brown hair.

"Forgetting someone ?"he said as we walked out the door

I'm seventeen years old in my last year of west central high school and it seems to be the best year ever. I have all regular classes and I have an A in all of them unlike my brother who has all regular classes just like me and can barely make a D in any of them . Me and my brother and i are totally differrent , all of the things I like he doesn't . Even know he's not good at math or English or social studies or scien- let me stop ... He's a killer at sports . He's a quarterback of the football team and gets all the girls which sometimes can get a bit overwhelming , but it doesn't bother me.

As I walk down the hall I see my friends Kayla, Chresanto, Jacob, prod, and Marlene so I go by them and they greet me. [ sorry you guys this is the most boring part of the book .... Introducing everyone - kitty cait ] I have known Kayla for the longest time ever she has light brown hair, hazel eyes 😒 , and light tan skin . She likes my friend ray ray . Chresanto is my other friend he has short curly hair with three lines one the sides and light brown eyes . He likes my friend Marlene and when I say likes I mean loves , he is crazy about her . Marlene is the girl who all o the boys like , she's the popular one of the group she has long black hair with blonde in the front , yellow skin , and gray eyes 😒 . She likes my brother Hunter so sometimes things can get intense because I know that Chres really likes her.

Ray Ray is another one of my friends , he has two long braids , his name is ray'quan but I call him Ray or Ray Ray. And then there's prodigy he gas a brown mow-hawk and brown eyes . His real name is Craig but we call him prod short for Prodigy.[hang with me guys this is the last one - kitty cait]

And last but not least Jacob (a.k.a Princeton)he's the one that all the girls like , he's my best guy friend , he has a big curly Afro and big brown eyes . His they call him prince short for Princeton but he tells me to call him by his real name..... Jacob because he told me he likes the way I say it .... He likes me. I love him but he is just to good of a friend .

KAYLA'S POV

I really like prod but I don't know if he feels the same way about me . Hopefully he does because I like him a lot , I just wish he would ask me out! . I have to figure out a way to get him to myself so I thought we could all go see a movie.

"HEY YOU GUYS WE SHOULD GO SEE A MOVIE!"

"THAT WOULD BE SO FUN!" they all said

"GREAT "meet me at the theatre at six sharp ? And right when I said that Prods eyes locked on mine ..... YES😊

"YEAH GIRL IMA HAVE TO GET MY HAIR DONE AND EVERYTHANG" Caitlyn and Marlene said at the same time they is so CRAZY . So me and the guys just stood there laughing at them , then the bell rang . "I got to go to class see y'all at the movies"

"Bye " they said as I made my way to my class and by the time I turned back they were all gone .

JACOB'S POV

YES I owe Kayla for this movie idea now I can be with Caitlyn and have her by my side . Nothing will ruin my day , I can't wait .

We have been friends since kindergarten i know your probably thinkin holy shit youve known her for that long?and I have developed some deep feelings for her ...... I just wish she knew. I don't want to ask her because I'm scared I'm gonna get turned .down , but I'm just gonna see how things go.

RAY'S POV

I can't wait until we go to the movies , it's gonna be so much fun and finally I can be alone with Kayla and I will be able to tell her how I feel about her . Hopefully she will feel the same about me .

CHRESANTO'S POV

I can't wait until we go to the movies , I'm so glad Kayla asked us that because now I can be with Marlene and I can find out if she feels the same way about me as I do for her , and who knows I might not be single by the end of the night.

MARLENE'S POV

OMG I can't wait to go to the movies tonight , it's gonna be so fun . HOPEFULLY HUNTER WILL BE THERE !!! ,but the only thing that I'm worried about is Chres because he is a big flirt and I don't want to ruin our friendship and I don't wanna turn him down.

PROD'S POV

I'm not so exited about this movie thing ,it just doesn't feel right . I feel like something bad is gonna happen , but hopefully no drama starts and we just watch the movie and leave because I'm really not in the mood today .

CAITS POV

As I reach my class I see trey , he's the bad boy , as in elementary school kids would call him a bully , but anyways he's the one that you always want to avoid , but I'm not scared of him because if he does anything ima fuck him up and he knows it too. While I was trying to get in my seat he stops in front of me.

"Where you goin ugly?" I looked at him with the you just fucked up face and said "oh sorry i think your mistaken ,as you know your the one with the ugly attitude " I say as I push him aside and sit in my seat . I can't believe I have to deal with him for eight class periods a day . People say he likes me but he's nothing but a jerk.
