'Where am I?'
That was the number one question that Bunnymund thought. He was in a town, but it wasn't the town that was full of modern things. No, it was an old town that has been abandoned for 900 years.
And it was in his home town too, Döllersheim, Austria. The story of this little town, was shut downed for a Wehrmacht military training area ordered by Adolf Hitler. "You are only here to watch" the man in the moon's voice echoed on his ears then the village turned back to its normal self, where happy families and children's laughters filled the air and not a single child rot in fear.
Then in a blink of an eye he was in a roof, but he wasn't alone "you can wish on them?" He looked to his right and saw a little girl with deep brown hair and whitish green eyes, cuddling with her mother and gazing at the stars "yes, when the Guardians came, children all around look up on the stars and the moon as the symbol of hope" her mother replied which made Bunnymund's smile grew "and if you listen closely you could hear the stars twinkle" she added with a smile "all I hear is quiet" the little girl replied with a frown "do you think if I wish and pray hard enough, I will be able to see?" The little girl added, then her mother frowned and said "no little one, you only have to wish for something that you need" Bunnymund finally understood that the little girl was born blind 'poor thin'' he thought "but don't I need my eyes?" The little girl asked to her mother who just chuckled in response "no, your to special for that" her mother replied as she faced her child "I am?" The little girl asked with hope in her voice "of course! You hear better than anyone I know! And your senses are much more sharper than the hunters of the village!" She exclaimed while tickling her daughter "Don't worry my little one, you'll soon find out that you don't need your eyes to fit in the world" her mother said then she put her hand to her daughter's chest where her heart is located "as long as you do it with love" her mother added making her daughter smile then she hugged her with so much love. Bunnymund smiled at the two then the scene began to shift "whats happenin'?" He said, the man in moon's voice echoed "Your only here to watch" but before Bunnymund vision black out completely he heard the blind little girl's voice "I think I heard a twinkle".
Bunnymund woke up with sound of rain, a feeling of something cold pressed against his forehead and light stroking on one of his ears.
He looked around his surroundings but only to be met by 'her'. She didn't realized that the sick Pooka was already awake when Bunnymund tried to attempt to sit up but groaned in pain then a pair of hands lay him back down "hey, take it easy now" her soothing voice rang in his ears, her eyes filled with worry and concern which made Bunnymund confused 'Why would she care for me? I was awful to her...' Bunnymund thought then he started having a splitting head ache so he clutches his head with his paws "what happened?" He asked while massaging his forehead "I found you passed out and soaked in the rain on the place where I save your fluffy tail" she replied then she took the bowl of soup that was on the nearby night stand and held up a spoonful of soup near his mouth.
Bunnymund looked at her with a are-you-serious-right-now face "come on your too weak to even sit yourself up the least I could do is to help you" she sighed and brought the spoon up closer to his mouth again, Bunnymund hesitated at first before taking the spoon and sipping up the soup, his eyes widened at the taste, it tasted like the food he had before in his village. Like sweet memories. "Good?" She asked in very cocky manner, ofcourse Bunny being Bunny wouldn't let his macho man act go down "its...alright I guess" he said which made her shake her head and chuckle in response.
"Thank you sheila" Bunnymund said with a weak smile after she's done chuckling, then her smile faded and turned into a frown "you shouldn't thank me, I made you sick, I did this to you, you nearly died out there because of me " she replied in a serious tone and looked down.
