The Guardians, Venus and the seraphims flew over the morning skies, watching every living thing wake up and enjoy a new day of making new memories and moments. Venus was standing on her tippy toes as she breathed in the air with her eyes closed. It's been awhile she enjoy some fresh air, sure that Silver took her on his back in the skies but this, was totally different. And the Guardians seemed to be enjoying the fresh air too. Well, not all the Guardians...
While Jack, North, Tooth and Sandy were enjoying, Bunnymund on the other was a different story. He sat in the back corner of the sleigh so he could have all the gripping places.
Jack looked back to him and whispered to him, "hey Bunny, check out this view. " Bunny glared at him and said "I am not falling for that trick again Frost!" But Jack just shook his head and pointed his staff to a maroon haired girl "not this view. That view," Bunnymund followed his gazed and his breath hitched.
The morning light seemed to make her glow, making her stand out. Her maroon hair that was currently tied in a low pony tail and swept on her left shoulder, swayed in sync with breeze. Her button nose scrunches from time to time when something passed and tickled her nose, making her smile.
One word echoed in his mind as he continue to stare at her. Gorgeous.
Venus felt like someone was watching her, but it didn't felt like a creepy stare. She slightly opened one eye and saw Bunnymund with his jaw agape, making her release a quiet chuckle, "take a picture, it'll last longer," Bunny didn't actually realize that he was staring, if he was in a cartoon show right now, his eyes would have popped.
He quickly averted his gaze away from Venus, feeling heat rise up his cheeks, as he hear Jack pratically rolling on the floor, laughing. Venus could've sworn she saw a hint of pink in Bunny's (adorable) face, making her chuckle and go back to what she was recently doing.
She closed her eyes as she inhaled and exhaled the morning spring air. Today was April 21, which means that she has been currently working along side with Bunny for 16 days. But in those 16 days, her feelings that she thought was long gone started to flood her heart again by each minute or each moment they spent together.
Her eyes snapped open and her thoughts were interrupted when North shouted "ALRIGHT EVERYBODY! WE'RE HERE!!!" she immediately rushed to the front to see.
"Where are we?" Jack questioned them, "New Zealand, one of the most peaceful places on earth. North, head to the mountains" Venus said. North followed her instructions and headed to the mountains. On their way, Venus brought out a stone with ancient looking markings.
"This is an Angelite, one of the most sacred stones filled with purity and honesty. A special stone that faciliatates contact with angels." Venus explained, she lifted the stone up so the sun could light it. As the stone reflected a beautiful beam of light, the beam seemed to be pointing somewhere over the mountains. "There," Venus pointed to the beam's direction.
North quickly obliged and followed her direction.
"Sooo, where's heaven?" Jack asked as he hopped off the sleigh, followed by his other fellow guardians, "you see there's a secret entrance to get there so mortals couldn't easily find it" Venus said with a smile, she looked to her fellow followers and said sternly, "alright troops, look for the hidden lever" and immediately and excitedly, her followersset out on the task in hand. The Guardians stood there, confused as ever, before even one of them could utter a word, one of Venus' followers shouted, "FOUND IT!!!!!" Venus looked up from her searching place with a big grin on her face, "good job Julius!" She exclaimed with a smile as she ran over to the Seraphim. The others followed in suit and so did the Guardians.
There stood next to the Seraphim, Julius was a stone lever that blends perfectly in the surroundings. Venus patted Julius on the back then motions everyone to stand in a circle around the lever.
