Chapter 8- Devorice Papers

Hey sorry I haven't been writing lately! I've had a really hard time in school! I failed a math test so yeah *Im DUMB*... Anyway enough about me and back to the book.

Clary's POV

It's been two weeks since getting Ari back and Jace and the rest of us has been more protective of her and the kids.

Plus I've been more hungry, moody and weird as well. For example, the other day I had a peanut butter jelly sandwich, mustard, bacon, chocolate sandwich. It's gross believe me I know. Im huge and fat and tired and just overall a complete mess. I don't know how they could put up with me I can't even stand me sometimes.

Right now I'm down stairs with Izzy, Alec and Maria. We are all waiting for the other boys to get back with my food. The kids are upstairs playing I have no clue what.

"WHERE IS JACE!" I yelled, Maria rolled her eyes with Izzy.

"Wait your damn horses he's coming women!" Maria snapped as weIl don't know what came over me but my eyes started to get watery real fast and my hands were shaking.

"Oh no..." They all yelled in sync.

"C-clary I didn't m-mean it!" Maria soothed talked me however, it was not working however, Izzy and Maria tried to hug me but I pushed them away holding my head and crying, they looked at me in a shocked kind of way and tried to soothe me till Jace came with my food. When Jace walked in I totally stopped. The girls rolled their eyes while I ran into Jace's arms. "Clary what's wrong?" he asked me, I shook my head cheeking his body for my food and found it in his left hand. I admittedly took it. For a pregnant women I'm really fast, I ran in the kitchen and started eating.

WHen I was eating I noticed the eyes that was looking at me and suddenly I felt really tired. "Come on Clary" Jace picked me up and started carrying me upstairs. I buried my head in the crook of his neck. Wrapping my arms around his neck. And I fell asleep.

Jace POV

Clary soon fell asleep and I sighed, I placed her in our bed and walked out leaving the door wide open. I saw Ari playing on the floor alone? "Hey... what are you doing Ari?" I asked bending down talking to her.

"Daddy is he gonna come back and get me? And what about Auntie Maria and mommy! DADDY i'm scared..." My heart probably dropped, I didn't know she still felt like that. I hugged her tight and kissed her forehead. "I promise Aria he won't come back he's gone you don't have to fear anymore daddy won't let you leave his side ever again."

She smiled and went to go look for Vanessa, I walked down the stairs to find Maria and Izzy holding a red folder in there hand. "W-"

"Here this is our divorce papers for Clary, we can no longer be there for her but with that said we would like to remain a friendship with her and only take care of her for the last two months of her pregnancy" they stated, I took the papers and they pointed to the areas that I have to sign.

"Wow you guys are... strange!" I said sitting next to Simone, we all relaxed and watched some movie. I wasn't really paying attention. Thinking about Ari, my soon to be born baby, and Clary. I don't know where I would be in life if I hadn't met Clary.

"JACE!" everyone yelled, I looked at them "We said what do you think the baby's gender is going to be? " Magnus said along with everyone else.

"Most likely a boy" I said thinking about my soon to be born kid, they nodded agreeing with me. "Oh you should name him Tyler!" Izzy shouted, me and the rest of the guys shook our heads Tyler is not what I had in mind.

"Jason!" Alec suggested.

"NO!" I said with Simone.

"Micah" Simone said.

"No"

"Ted"

"Hell no"

"Anthony"

"No"

"Chris"

"No"

After minutes of trying we all just gave up on names till someone said something.

"August... the month of his due date, when you got reunited with Clary, and found your daughter... August" Maria explained, I nodded it's actually a really good name.

I smiled and we heard a strange knock on the door, I opened the door not knowing who it was and having everyone behind my trails. "Please I m-mean no harm I just need help please!" the girl begged, she had blonde long wavy hair, she had blue eyes, short, skinny and looked beaten.

We helped her up and carried her into the house, I told Maria, Marianna and Izzy to help clean her up while me in the boys get some fresh towels and blankets.
