Chapter 9- Take Her Back

Clary's P.o.v- 

I woke up and I didn't see Jace so I waddled down stairs and so Jace holding a blonde girl. Jealousy shot through me and I got the memory a few year back when I caught Jace cheating on me with another blonde girl. Heads shot up looking at me and Jace panicked, "C-Clary listen to me okay-"

"Clary it's okay nothing bad happened the girl showed up at our door saying she needed help and she's no harm it's okay Jace didn't do anything wrong. Yet." Maria smiled, I nodded and Jace plucked her in her neck. I sat next to Jace staring at the girl. "Did you catch her name?" I asked, they nodded.

"Her name is Faith at least that's what we heard her say before she fainted" Alec told me, I nodded again and looked at her "Do we know when she's going to wake?"

"No not at all, but we're trying to she hasn't even moved yet" Izzy whispered, I got up and went into the kitchen pouring cold water. I walked out of the kitchen and told everyone to get up real quick then I threw the water on Faith.

She suddenly jumped off from the couch and stared at the cup in my hand she looked angry and tried to grab me but Jace stood in front on me with everyone else. "Where  am I?" She asked us, "You're in Los Angeles and you're in the McCalims Institute!" I said, she looked at all of us, "Thank you for saving me but I have to go I was actually looking for someone is he here?" She asked, "Who?"

"Zach he's my boyfriend and he told me this month that I can finally come and meet his family and friends, while I was on my way here... I was attacked and I fought really hard but he was just too strong" everyone's eyes was so shocked we almost went into a heart attack. 

"Wait your-your Faith that Faith... Faith Crasding?" Maria asked, she nodded and looked around. 

"Yeah so do you know where he is?" 

"Umm can we talk to you in private just me Izzy and Clary guys come on Faith" Maria said, we walked into the hallway and I rubbed my stomach thinking of how the hell did she-when did he-i'm just so confused.

"So three months ago we went into a battle some made it out alive and others simply didn't and sadly Zach didn't make it out.. I'm so so sorry he was really close to me he was and still is my brother and he told how happy you made him."

"Your-you're lying right he's not - he can't- oh my god!" she broke down on the floor and started crying holding her head. I felt bad so I hugged her telling her everything's going to be alright. Maria started to get choked up and I saw tears falling out of her eyes and she ran out.

"Hey is everything alright?" Jace and Simone asked us, I nodded and Faith cried herself to sleep on the couch. I sighed, Jake and Marianna came down stairs and looked at the girl "Who's the girl?" Jake asked, "Apparently Zach's girlfriend" I stated, they looked shocked as well.

"Woah she's hot though" Jake mumbled, me and Marianna rolled our eyes. "I don't know.." Marianna said, "Know what?" 

"Something seems off about this girl I just can't put my finger around it I just don't know" She whispered.

"Well you keep guessing and it's a little late so I'm going to ed love you guys" I smiled, "Love you too"they said.

I climbed into bed snuggling next to Jace and feeling his warmth, "Goodnight Love" Jace whispered.

Jace's P.o.v-

It was the next day and when I woke up Clary was gone and she must be down stairs. I did my morning routine and when I got out I saw Ari, "Hey princess"

"Hey daddy... Daddy when will the baby be here?" she asked with Vanessa, "Sometime in 4 months from now!" I smiled, they jumped up and down running downstairs.

"Jace! Come!" Marianna whispered shouted to me, I went into her room and she looked like she had been up all night. "I was RIGHT! We can't trust that girl, it made no sense if Zach liked Izzy but had a girlfriend?! " Wait what?

"he liked Izzy"

"No duh? Don't you remember that week and he kept staring at her and then by accident when he said I love you Maria he said Izzy! NOW  keep up!"

"Then I started doing my research, she - she is Clary's sister she's another child of Valentine but, but she has a twin! YOU know through the attacks and the day we got Maria and Aria back I kept seeing this girl at first I thought I was imaging it but I wasn't ! Faith that's the girl she's Sebastian's twin and Clarys older sister! What happens if she's working with Sebastian and this is just all a cover up for what's coming??"

"Are you sure about this?" I asked she nodded me showing me this book lit thing. And inside was a ripped picture and then another and the third baby was ripped out. and that was Faith... Holy Shit.

 Ẅe ran down stairs and saw Faith playing with Ari and smiling. I watched as she started to fit in. Like everything was okay. It made sense because something was actually off. 

"Hey guys breakfast is ready!" Clary announced, everyone walked in the kitchen my eyes was just on Faith.

We're finally getting over everything and I can't trust her, she can this family down in seconds. She has the game with Sebastian right where they want it. But, I wont let it happen not now nor ever. 

This is a fight that we're going to have to fight if she wants my family. I made a promise to Ari and Im not going to break it.
