We take a stroll back to the apartment, taking in the city. It was so familiar yet so different. I knew I would end up in London. This is the place that I belong, that We belong. We walk up the steps to the door. I press the buzzer and Dan opens the door. Another surprised look on his face.

"Hey, We were wondering if we could crash here for tonight?" I ask.

"Well your bags are already here so sure, just be quiet, the twins are already asleep," Dan replies. I check my watch, 10:47pm. Time goes quickly. We follow Dan upstairs into my old room, "We are saving this room for when Bethan hits her teens but for now it's just the guest room."

"Cool, thanks," I say and Dan leaves closing the door behind him. I stand there taking it all in. I see one of my old paintings is hung above the bed. I think back to how this used to be my home. How this used to be my room. How things used to be. How things are now. People always say that things get better and I can say that its true. Everything happened for a reason and now I can say that I am where I feel that I need to be.

"Are you okay?" Maysie asks.

"I can say with full certainty, that I am indeed, Okay," I reply. Maysie smiles. I walk over and put my are around her waist, "Have I told you lately that I love you?"

"Yes, you have, but have I told you enough?"

"I don't think you have," I say. She giggles her cute little giggle.

"Well, I love you more then I have ever loved someone before and I truly cannot wait to be Mrs Maysie Howell," She says with a bright smile that light up the world. I lean down and kiss her. Just a sweet kiss, but still meaningful.

"I can't wait either," I say.

"Good," she says through a laugh, "hey, I think I might go to sleep, we had to get up early."

"Yeah, no problem," I say, "I might go catch up with Dan."

"Yes, you should, you are really great brothers," She says and I kiss her forehead before releasing my hands from her waist.

"I'll be in soon, promise," I say. I leave the room and quietly close the door so I don't wake the twins. I walk down the stairs and look in the lounge. No Dan. I walk into the kitchen and half expect to see Phil eating Dan's cereal. I see Dan with his one direction mug in hand. He's looking out the window. I don't see what he's looking at.

"No Hello Kitty mug?" I ask as I walk over to him.

"No, Phil got the Hello Kitty mug and I got the 1D mug," He says, smiling at me.

"What were you looking at?" I ask

"Oh, nothing, just thinking," He replies.

"What about?"

"When you first arrived here with mum," He admits, "It was so long ago but I remember it so vividly."

"It's weird how much everything can change," I say. Dan lowers his head. He then looks at me, his eyes glassy.

"Where did you go?" He asks, "You were gone for so long and I heard nothing from you."

"I'm sorry," I say weakly. I know Dan really cares about me, "I just needed time."

He nods and then takes a sip of his tea.

"Did you have a good dinner?" He asks.

"Yes, we did," I say, "I need to ask you something."

"What is it?"

"Will you be my best man?" I ask. Dan's face lights up as he looks at me.  He starts nodding his head.

"Of course," He says, "I can't believe this."

I laugh, "I can't believe it either."

"Well done, Adrian," He says patting my back, "I'm proud of you."

Dan's words made me sure that what I was doing was that right thing. Everything was falling into place. Everyone's lives were finally the way they were meant to be. They way they deserved them to be. They are happy. I am happy.

"Dan?"

"Yeah?"

"If you could, would you change anything?"

He puts his hand on my shoulder and pulls me into a brotherly hug.

"Never," he says smiling.

"Why?"

"Because we are all in the place that we end up in for a reason, We may not like it at first but it makes it who we are. It's like asking if you want to change who you are and although we may want to, it's important to love who you are no matter what. If you did change something about your past that could change everything. We become who we are because of our experiences and no one should ever mess with that," He says, "Oh and also we can't because time travel hasn't been invented yet."

I smile. I missed him.

"Thanks Dan," I say.

"Adrian," He says, "I will be here for you whenever you need me because you and I, we are important in our lives. You are important and I hope that I am important to you."

"You are," I say.

"Then we will always be Two Brothers."
