Chapter 31- I Forgive You, But I Don't Trust You

Alex helped me into the hospital as I was feeling dizzy. We waiting for the doctor to come and get us. Alex asked me questions while we waited. Just the usual questions like, what day is it, when is my birthday. She seemed very worried. The doctor finally came and said I should stay the night just so they can monitor me because last time I was in hospital was because of head problems. The nurses helped me into the bed and I talked to Alex for a while. Alex said she had to go pick up her flatmate, Clara, from work soon. I didn't let her leave that quickly. I got up and Alex helped. We went down to Maysie's room. 

"Hi, It's Adrian," I said walking in. She turned to look and a smile grow but vanished almost as quickly.

"Adrian, what happened?" She questioned quickly.

"Oh, it's nothing to worry about, I just fell over and they wanted to keep me here overnight," I replied calmly.

"Oh okay, that's good," She said reviled," And who's this?"

"This is Alexandra,"

"Alex," Alex cut in.

"Gina Rose," I continued, "She went to my old school with me."

"Hi," Alex said.

"Wait, I know that name," Maysie said, "Have you been on tv or something?"

"Um, I wrote and published a book," Alex replied awkwardly.

"Thats right, I've read it, you're a really good writer," Maysie complimented.

"Thanks, I worked hard on it, it's good to hear someones read it," Alex said sitting down in the chair next to Maysie.

"Adrian actually gave me his copy to read," Maysie said looking over at me.

"Did he now, what did you think?" Alex asked me.

"It seemed very familiar," I replied.

"Is that so, well to be completely honest, it's actually based off you and Dan, and your friendship as you both grew up," Alex said.

"Well that makes sense now," Maysie stated.

"Yeah, 'The Two Brothers' By Alexandra Gina Rose" I said, "One of the best undiscovered books the world will never know."

"I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or not," Alex laughed, "Anyway, I will leave you two as I have to pick Clara up, see ya," Alex said leaving.

"Bye," I said hugging her.

"Nice meeting you," Maysie waved from her bed. Alex left down the corridor and I went and sat next to Maysie. I was fighting my inner demons. Did I tell her about Lucy or not. I had to, It wasn't fair for her. I turned to Maysie and took her hands.

"Maysie, I'm about to tell you something and I want to tell you now that I'm very sorry," I said taking a deep breath, "Lucy kissed me."

"I know," She replied with a smile on her face.

"What?" I said confused.

"Lucy came in earlier today and told me, she literally got down on her knees and begged for forgiveness," Maysie laughed.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"I said that I forgive her but I don't trust her," She said, "Lucy accepted that and told me not to be mad or upset with you because it was all her fault and then she left, I don't know when I'll see her again or if I ever will, but either way, I'm happy that she was brave enough to come and tell me and tell me that you did the right thing, I am so proud of you, and Adrian I know I've said this before, but I feel that this time, I mean it the most out of all the other times I've said it, Adrian I love you so much and I can't imagine what I would do with out you, you are my everything," Maysie said with tears starting to crawl down her cheeks.

I leaned over and kissed her. It started out slow. I pull her towards me. I couldn't help but feel the heat from her body as I kissed her. It was amazing, better than anything I've ever felt before. As her arms wrap around my neck, securing our position she whispers,

"What if a nurse walks in," I ignore it, all I could think about was how our bodies fit together. I thought she would stop, but she didn't. I felt her lips against mine as we grew more intense. But  then we hear a knock at the door. We quickly pull away and see Dan at the door.

"Sorry to interrupt, but thought you might want to know that you pressed a button to call a nurse," Dan said with a smirk. We looked around to find the button. We found it and Dan was right. I removed myself from on top of Maysie and sat in the chair next to her bed. A nurse came rushing in but Maysie told her that she accidentally hit it. Then the nurse left.

"So, I got a call saying that you were back here," Dan said to me.

"Yeah, I just fell over and hit my head, nothing too bad," I said.

"Okay, are we still on for tomorrow then?" He asked.

"Yeah," I replied.

"What's happening tomorrow?" Maysie asked.

"That's classified information," I answer.

"Awwwww," She said.

"Well, my job is done, see you love birds tomorrow," Dan said leaving. I kissed Maysie on the forehead and told her I had to talk to Dan. i left the room to find him waiting outside. I apologized to him about punching him and we finished off planing to details for tomorrow.
