"No." Alex said. "Absolutely not."
"Oh come one, Alex." Rian groaned. "Let her come."
"No." He shook his head.
"Why not?" Rian asked.
"One: her clothes are too revealing.
Two: she's wearing too much makeup.
Three: she's too young.
Four: there will be guys there.
Five: they'll be drunk.
Six: they'll be horny.
Seven: they'll look at her like shes prey." He Shook his head. "No, no, and no, she's not going.""Alex, it's not like we're gonna leave her all by herself." Zack spoke up. "She's gonna be with us."
"That's suppose to comfort me?" He laughed dryly. "You guys will probably drink and you're all horny!" He through his hands up in the air. "It's not happening."
"Chill the fuck out, Alex. Let the girl live a little!" Jack spat out, surprising all of us, since he was being quiet before.
"You should know us by now, we wouldn't do anything to hurt her and we'll all be there with her so no other guy can do anything to her. She'll be safe." He argued. "Stop worrying!"
We were all silent for a few seconds after Jacks little outburst.
Alex sighed loudly, running his fingers in his hair. "Fine, you can come."
The guys cheered. And before Alex could change his mind, I was being pulled to the car.
Honestly, half of me was excited for going and the other half just wished Alex had said no.
I sat in the back with Jack and Zack. Jack being in the middle of us, while Rian drove and Alex was is the passenger seat. Zack put on his headphones, rested his head on the seat and closed his eyes, getting lost in the music.
Rian and Alex, were in a heated discussion of some movie that just came out in the Cinema. And Jack seemed to be in his own little world, staring straight ahead.
I on the other hand was silently freaking out. I looked outside the window trying to erase this anxious feeling in my chest.
This was a mistake. A little voice in my head said. Something bad in gonna happen. You shouldn't have come. You're so stu- my thoughts were interrupted when I felt a large hand grab mine. I looked up to Jacks beautiful brown eyes watching me carefully.
"Don't worry." He whispered in my ear.
He knew exactly what was going on in my head right now. He knew that I was on the verge of breaking down. His grip tightened on my hand, making me feel better.
"I'll protect you."
All my worries vanished with those three simple words.
"Thank you." I whispered back.
He nodded and looked back ahead but, he never once let go of my hand through the long forty five minute drive to the club.
Thank God, Alex, wasn't paying attention, or he'd have his head.
