We got to the club and I stuck close with Jack and Alex. There was a huge line of people waiting outside. I'm not sure why Alex was so worried about me, when most of the girls here are barley covering any skin. As Jack would say, "Why wear clothes?"
We passed the whole line and went straight to the front. People were giving us rude looks- well, mostly, the girls were giving us rude looks and by us I mean me. I felt so small compared to them. I felt like I was being judged on everything, making me feel very uncomfortable. And all I wanted to do was go home.
I felt an arm drape across my shoulder and pull me closer to their body. I identified this person as Alex. He whispered in my ear, "Stay close okay?" I nodded in response, afraid that if I speak he'll notice that I was scared.
He took his arm away, so he could go speak to the bouncer. They let us in with ease and I was left internally crying at that fact.
I was momentarily blinded by all the neon lights but, when my eyes got used to all the lights I realized; that I really wish I had stayed home.
The music was pounding in my heart, there was so many people grinding on each other and so many people that were drunk. This wasn't my scene.
I felt so self conscious and so claustrophobic, that I just wanted to sprint out the door.
"Come on." Rain got my arm and started leading me towards the bar. "Don't want you to get lost."
"Thanks." I managed to mumble.
"Four beers please." Zack told the bartender. "Want anything?" He then asked me.
"No, not for her." Alex replied for me.
I rolled my eye at him. If I had to be here where I'm not comfortable in, I need to be somewhat drunk.
"Make that five beers." I told the bartender, ignoring Alex.
"You got it!" He winked at me.
"Knew this was a bad idea." Alex mumbled under his breath.
