Dark And Light (Tokio Hotel)

Chapter one

I'll never forget that day. The day I found a handsome boy looking out my window. I was doing my daily routine getting my chores done. The world had changed. There were many different creatures. Now, each one more superior than another. I was a human and I was at the bottom. Out of all the creatures we are treated the worst. I gathered my clothes and headed to the river nearby to wash them.
I was so into what I was doing that I didn't notice a presence behind me.
"Well what do we have here?" I hear a voice say with a chuckle. I turn around to see a guy from my village named Axel who was a vampire.
"P-please leave me alone" I said as I clutched my clothes tightly to me.
"Now why would I do that when I could sip you dry?" Axel says with a smirk
"Please don't" I beg in fear
"Too late sweet heart" Axel said. He was about to bite my neck. I closed my eyes in fear but did not feel any pain. I opened my eyes to see a guy with long black hair that was spiked and went past his shoulders.
"Don't you dare touch her!" I heard the guy say. I quickly grabbed my laundry and ran to my hut in fear. Once inside I fell to the floor in fear. I hated this new world. Too many creatures frightened me. The only kind ones that I had met were fairies and angels. I put my stuff quickly away and made a small plate of food seeing as I didn't have much. I turned around after I was done making it to go sit down but the plate slipped from my hand crashing to the floor when I saw the boy who was hurting Axel staring out my window.
I hesitantly walked over not sure if I should let him in.  He gestures towards the door but I was hesitant. When I saw him smile I don't know what came over me but I opened the door hesitantly. He came in and I shut the door.
"Thank you f-for helping me" I say nervously
"No problem liebe" he said with a smile
"Liebe?" I asked confused
"It means love in German" he said with a kind smile.
"Thank you um?" I said not knowing his name
"Bill. Bill Kaulitz. And you are?" Bill asked
"Courtney Kirkpatrick" I say with a small smile.
I don't know why but I could not look away from Bill. I was lost in his eyes. Before I could react Bill took my hand in his and lead me over to the old couch I had.
"You are beautiful. I know we just met but there is a reason I protected you" Bill said and squeezed my hand reassuringly.
"Why?" I asked curiously myself
"You may not believe me but you are my mate. You are my one and only. I promise that I will be forever sacred and I will protect you" Bill said making me shocked
"But you barely know me!" I say
"I will get to know you" Bill said with his adorable smile. That night Bill spent the night and we both talked as if we had known each other forever and I fell asleep on the couch in Bill's arms. Little did I know the dangers we would face because of my love for him. He was the dark and I was the light.
