I woke up the next morning with something warm wrapped around me. I looked up to see a sleeping Bill but what was more shocking than that was that there were black wings wrapped around me keeping me warm. What is he? I think to myself. Bill starts to stir. Once he opens them I get lost in his beautiful brown eyes.
"Morning Liebe." Bill says and kisses my forehead.
"Morning." I say not wanting to leave bill's embrace but I know I have to.
"I love you Courtney which is why I have to do this." Bill says making me look at him confused.
"Do what?" I asked looking at him curiously. Next thing I know I felt a pain in the back of my neck. I cried out in pain. What was happening? I thought only to realize Bill was biting my neck. Why was he hurting me? I thought he loved me. The pain disappeared after fifteen minutes and I backed away from Bill.
"Please don't be scared." Bill said with sadness in both his voice and eyes as I backed away.
"What are you!" I say in fear
"I'm a hybrid. I'm part angel and part vampire" Bill said with sadness.
"W-why did you bite me!" I say confused.
"I marked you. Your my mate Courtney. I did it so no one else can have you." Bill said.
"Please go Bill I need to think" I say
"I'm sorry Courtney. I really do love you. I'll be back in three days and if you want me to remove the mark I will." Bill said and flew out of the small hut. I fell to the floor in tears wondering what I should do.
